I am a new car enthusiast and don't know how to drive manual. Instead of opting for the R or the sport manual, I chose the DSG 2017 Performance Pack. This car looks great, corners super well, feels safe and has the best fuel efficiency I've had in a long time. My very first car was a Jetta TDI and I miss it everyday; the GTI has all but blown it out of the water. If you're a new car enthusiast or a long-term lover, this is definitely a car for you.
Story
I live near round-abouts and when there's no traffic (or cars) using it. I like to whip around them at around 30 mpg. It corners so well and I can accelerate right out of them and feel like I'm a racecar driver.
Pros
Color is clean, and the interior is fantastic. Fuel efficiency ranges between 25-31. The interior trim is sleek for a base model. Heated side mirrors and heated seats really elevate the car. The steering wheel is a square bottom and leather lined with great stitching; gives the feel of driving an Audi or BMW. Paint doesn't appear to chip too much and the white color (Pure White) even looks good dirty. The 18" Nogaros (only for the 2017 Sport Model) are beautiful and handle dirt very well; they are beautiful against the OEM red calipers.
Cons
The rear view mirror is not auto-dimmed, so that can be an issue when you have bright LEDs blaring through the huge hatch window. It's very small and low to the ground, so you do blow a lot when on the highway between two large cars. The back up camera is SUPER annoying because it opens whenever you reverse and then sits open until you're moving forward for about 10 seconds. You can hear the mechanical click when it opens and closes.

This car is great, for men or women alike. It has the mpg that everyone wants without having to sacrifice the looks and sport package.
Story
When my grandfather died, I had to drive over 100 miles in under two hours without stopping. The fuel economy on my car allowed me to do so.
Pros
MPG, paint, looks, horsepower and torque.
Cons
Smaller than most other cars on the road, smaller cargo space.
