I Hate This Car
This thing has been a piece of crap. AC goes through refrigerant like water, even though 3 mechanics can't find a leak. Crappy gas mileage. Seat plastic break easily. Stow and go seats are nice, but with a messy toddler, there messes stay in the stow part and stink. Carpet is very difficult to clean.

I bought this vehicle as a family vehicle and for work. I bought it used when it was only 2 years old and with 20,000 miles on it. Initially, I liked the looks and color of it. A pleasant blue color with a grey interior. I didn't want dark colors. It is a basic model, but I have been very happy with the comfort and roominess for my family. I love the fold down seats and removable center row. It has been very dependable. I have mainly taken it in for regular service calls. It runs very cleanly and has never leaked any fluids. It gets good gas mileage considering the type of vehicle it is. I have only had one issue that is an ongoing problem. The brakes have a squeak in them that the dealer can not find or fix. It is really annoying but it does not seem to affect the brake operation. I have put a lot of money into the brakes to make sure they are in good repair.

Spacious and utilitarian
I had wanted a Dodge Grand Caravan for about 10 years before we actually bought one. We happend to get one as a rental because our previous minivan had been totaled. I fell in love with the automatic dual sliding doors. Before my eldest daughter passed away, it was difficult to find a vehicle that I could get her in and out of easily because she was wheelchair-bound and I could only transfer her to the front seat in other vehicles, which didn't feel very safe since she was under 80 lbs. With the Caravan, I could easily place her in one of the captain seats in the second row, ON EITHER SIDE! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was about that! I also loved that the rear seats had their own air vents, my poor kids didn't have to sweat it out in the back seat during the Arizona summer anymore. The engine was quiet and it had good pickup for a big vehicle. The stow and go feature was also a plus. I love that I can get a piece of furniture or even a Christmas tree in the back without having to pull out the seats and leave them in the garage before I leave. Overall, I've been very happy with our van. I don't regret buying it for one second.
