I bought this vehicle preowned a little over a year ago to accommodate my growing family. We've driven roughly 20,000 miles. The interior is nice and the seats are very comfy. We go on road trips a few times a year and we also homeschool so we are constantly going on several field trips. This van drives great. It's very smooth and built to last. I love that the doors slide open with the push of a button. The seats are all stow and go so we can hide all the kids toys and books under the floor that seem to accumulate every time they get inside of it, but they can still easily get to them if they want them on the next trip. There is plenty of room for my current family of five which is about to be a family of six. The gas mileage is fantastic for such a large vehicle. We can make a five h... (more)
Story
We took this vehicle on our first family vacation. It was a 13 hour trip from North Texas to Steeleville, Missouri. We had a great trip driving through the mountains of Oklahoma and Arkansas. It was a beautiful trip.
Pros
Great gas mileage. Very smooth ride. Lots of room. Stow and go seats so we can have extra room to move around inside. Lots of storage space and we can hide our mess under the floorboards.
Cons
Nothing fancy about it. We moved from a 2013 Ford Escape and prior to that we had a 2010 Ford Focus. The interior amenities in these vehicles spoiled me. I miss the touch screen, the satellite radio, the USB ports and all those things that come standard in the Ford vehicles. There really aren't many frills about the Dodge Grand Caravan.

I love my van. It has tons of space for my five kids I and the stow-n-go seating makes it easy to transport larger items like dressers and tables when I need to. It's easy to clean out with simple access to all the seats and the DVD player keeps my kids entertained on long car rides. It has the get up and go I need to take trips with my family or haul our boat around as well as the fuel efficiency to drive a lot of the day, every day, without breaking the bank.
Story
We took a family road trip in this van and hooked up a PS4 to the DVD player and my kids had so much fun- which is something for a 13 hour car ride!
Pros
I love the simplicity of the stow-n-go seating and the large amount of trunk space with the recessed trunk. I can fit both my tandem stroller and my jogging stroller in the trunk at the same time and still get a load of groceries in. The additional features like the DVD player and the USB ports as well as the 115v charger access from the back seat make it easy for my kids to play games or watch movies on long car rides. We even ran a PS4 for hours and it was simple to set up with the plug ins already in the van.
Cons
The only things I think could be improved in this van are the upper storage space in the front passenger dash and the Bluetooth buttons that are installed with no Bluetooth. We purchased my van that was listed with Bluetooth and had all of the command buttons only to find out that it doesn't actually have the Bluetooth feature, just the buttons since SOME vans have them - which seems ridiculous. The upper storage space is convenient but the lid feels a little less sturdy than it could be.
