Dependable and tough
I've had this vehicle for about 4 years and put almost 90k miles on it. It's been tough and durable the entire time. I use it both as a daily driving vehicle and to tow horse trailers. It does fine in both conditions, though sometimes it is too big to conveniently drive downtown in cities. While the gas mileage is not nearly as good as what you would get in a smaller vehicle, it's done well in all environments. The only recurring issues I've had is with the 4WD--I have had to do a lot of maintenance work on various parts of the drivetrain, and it seems to be the weak link. Fun to drive though and does great in rain/snow/etc.

Truck overall is great, but the transmission is junk.
This truck is a diesel 4-wheel drive and has a LOT of power. I love everything about it except for the transmission; an automatic. We purchased this truck new and the transmission was a problem right from the start. When it did not shift smoothly, we made the mistake of listening to the salesman who said that was normal. We've owned this truck for 10 years now and it still looks and runs great. The interior is roomy and very comfortable even on long road trips. There is plenty of power to pull anything we want.
