Dependable Car
The Toyota Highlander is a dependable car. I have owned it for about eight years and have had very minimal maintenance issues with it. The overall look is quite classy, with carefully designed details such as on the doors. The car also has no blind spots, which is important for new drivers. The drive is very smooth. Going uphill is exceptionally easy. The V6 engine makes it a fast car. It is, however, quite bulky, so you can feel the air resistance when the wind is strong.

I love my little Tonka toy.
When I first bought this car, it was out of necessity. I had to have the third row due to kids. My Suburban broke down on me and was useless as a trade in. The trusted lot I went to had only one third row available. I agreed to it without even seeing it. I knew I could afford it, and that it had only one previous owner. So I drove it off. Completely hating it the entire time. I jokingly called it the Tonka toy due to its tiny size when compared to a Suburban. It is very small. However, after a few months it started to grow on me. It does incredibly well on fuel. It has a 'get up and go' that the Suburban didn't have. I can still fit all of my children in it with ease. I have never had to do anything serious to it. Just your basic oil change/tires here and there. Nothing major. The only part under the hood I have replaced is the alternator. The Highlander is a great little vehicle for anyone, but especially for a young family. It is a ladies car, but men can pull it off too. I've put a lot of miles on the car living in the middle of nowhere, and it's still kicking just as good as day one. I once had a deer hit me, and the car did not suffer much damage. Just a dent in the fender. Overall, I would absolutely buy it again.
