2002 Kia Rio - My car
So first of all, it's just a tiny car. It's light blue. It was passed down to me from my older sister who bought it used and used it in her four years of college in Idaho. It's been through quite a bit! She's used it for traveling home from college for the holidays and other special occasions throughout the four years she went to school there and has driven it around quite a bit. I don't know what the mileage is like on it. I really don't pay attention to details, but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable in cars would know more than me about those details. It has considerable wear on the paint from being out in the sun (and we get some harsh sun).

The only car accident I've ever been in in this car was back in the spring of 2011 when I was working for a plant care company, and it's a slightly embarrassing one and a very memorable one for me. I was done with my shift at work caring for plants at a particular bank in my town, and I left the building to take the car to go home from work. The only car accident I've ever been in in this car was back in the spring of 2011 when I was working for a plant care company, and it's a slightly embarrassing one and a very memorable one for me. I was done with my shift at work caring for plants at a particular bank in my town, and I left the building to take the car to go home from work. I was pulling out of my parking space, and I looked in my rear-view mirror to see that there was no car behind me and that the parking space behind me was empty, so I continued backing up so I could get out, thinking that there was no car behind me in that space and thought I was free to pull out further into the "empty" parking space behind me. All of the sudden a woman driving past in front of me covers her mouth looking at me and is trying to get my attention in some way. All of a sudden I hear and feel my car hitting into an object behind me. I turn around, find out that somehow I managed to reverse right into an SUV that I could have sworn was not there when I looked in my rear-view mirror beforehand. I should have looked behind me and continued looking in my rear-view mirror as I was backing out, making sure that there were still no cars behind me, but I hadn't. I guess I'd been confident that there were none. The woman in the other car witnessed me mouth the words "oh no!" in my car, and I pulled into an empty parking space while she went into the bank and informed a banker about my hitting into the car. Right then, the local college campus police just somehow happened to pull into the parking lot of this bank I was located, and they were right there to help. The customer whose SUV I'd just pummeled into came out with a banker and they kindly inspected the damage. I was so, so, so embarrassed and nervous, thinking about how the guy must have been thinking about what an idiot I was. He was friendly though, and it had only done damage to my car and not his. Thankfully, I hadn't done any damage to the other guy's car, as his car was tougher than mine. I was so scared to the point of crying as the college campus police were talking to me about the incident. They were merely giving me instructions as to what to do next, they weren't being mean or anything. They were just serious, as police officers often are. So I went home devastated and scared about what my parents would do. I was so afraid they would be angry with me, that I was scared to tell them about it. They found out somehow, I don't remember how, and I don't even know if I told them about it or not, but they acted so incredibly casual about it, like it wasn't even a big deal. Maybe insurance paid for it and that's why they weren't angry, I don't know. But they just went and got it taken care of, no big deal. I was so surprised! And yes, I was sober this entire experience.
You can conveniently and easily navigate in this car, and because it's a small compact car, you can look around the car while driving inside of it while pulling out of parking spaces and things that require looking around you more easily. It drives pretty well for an otherwise crappy car and is still tough even after all the years me, my older sister, and other family members have driven it. It gets everyone from point A to point B, and that's nice. If looks don't matter so much to you, it's really decent for a car.

Not the best car to drive in harsh weather conditions or snow, as the wheels aren't the best type for driving in those conditions. There are sometimes issues with the windows fogging up and having a hard time getting them defogged. Rear bumper is dented. Not the most attractive car and the paint is fading from being in the sun.

2002 Kia Rio - Lousy Kia.
My car is a light blue Kia Rio, and the color has worn off it a bit due to being out in the sun so much, and perhaps the paint job on it wasn't good enough to keep it on. The air conditioner in it doesn't work too well, and you have to keep the windows rolled down when you drive it during the summer. It also isn't the best kind of car to drive during the winter, but it can do okay if you have to drive it. Just have to be careful. The brakes are probably not very good, but it still does its job.

Honestly, making love in it. That's really personal, but I can't think of anything else.

It gets me from point A to point B, and that's all I need right now. It does its job well for such a crappy car and it actually does really well on gas. You can see around the car efficiently and quickly while you're driving or pulling out of a parking space (to see behind you), as it's a small car.

Air conditioner doesn't work, making it more of a pain to drive in the summer. It's an old car, you have to roll the windows down with the handles on the doors. No new technology in it, as it's an older car. You have to move the rearview mirrors using a little handle that moves them instead of pressing buttons like in newer cars. Brakes are going out on this car currently, have to get them fixed.
