The interior looks and feels of good quality. The car gets great gas mileage however doesn't pick up speed like I would have liked. It also has more trunk space then it looks. The back seats are not that comfortable and not much leg room however the front seats are fine. Engine and overall parts seem to work well, no major issues, seems to be a very reliable car, I've driven cross country in it twice this year. Compact car so fits well in small parking spots.
Story
Driving cross country in my car for cheap due to the great gas mileage
Pros
Good gas mileage satellite radio compact car
Cons
Doesn't pick up speed fast Small back seat

I had wanted a Kia for years, and when my last car had an unfortunate meeting with a deer, I decided a Kia was the first thing I was going to look at. I have been extremely happy with my choice. It has been a great little car taking me where I need to go and surviving my less than organized lifestyle.
Story
Loading the car up in the sleet, so we could get decorations to the place we were supposed to have my brother's wedding, not knowing if there was going to be a wedding. Severe icing was predicted and several out-of-town guests had already cancelled. The photographer was asking if the wedding was still on and the JP was calling every half hour to see if it was still on. The bride had been dr... (more)
Pros
My favorite thing about the car is when I turn the key it starts. For someone who has bought more than a few used cars in her day, having one that is reliable is the biggest relief you can imagine, especially for a single woman. I love the size. And even though it is a small car, I was able to get a four door. Some small cars only come with two door, and I absolutely loath that. I can load my dog without having her crawl across my seat and leaving her hair everywhere, nor do I have to try to force my 105 lb. dog through the small space left when you lean the seat forward in a two door. Th... (more)
Cons
This thing, while it is good for short people, is not so great for short, fat people. I can reach the pedals, which is great. The not-so-great part is that when I can reach the pedals my tummy is getting scraped by the steering wheel. I have lost more than one button that way. But the seat belt will go around all 325 lbs. of me, so I guess that should be in the pro column. The front and back windows are also very slanty, which means that when cleaning the car, I have trouble reaching over to where the dash and the windshield meet to clean. Slightly annoying.
