I love my 2013 Kia Rio. It has power windows and anti lock brakes which is awesome, and the black color looks great! It can hold quite a bit of luggage in the trunk. It's also good for transporting friends or children. It has good gas mileage and is cheap to fill up.
Story
I drove it out of state and it was a smooth ride.
Pros
The gas mileage is great and the air conditioner works well@!
Cons
The features could be better.

2013 Kia Rio - It does its job, but not much else!

This car was bought for me and my wife from her parents in 2014 and it had under 10k miles. It has been a very reliable car for us. While it is a base model and does nothing fancy, it is a cheap car to maintain and has never given us any problems. We have traveled long distances in it multiple times and it is a very comfortable drive. Due to its small size, it is very cheap to repair or do any maintenance on it. It is a cheap car, so we didn't expect a lot out of it. However, we do wish it had more safety features and was built with better quality materials (at least for the exterior and frame; the interior is very high quality). I feel that if we wrecked, we would not be very safe because of the size of the car and cheap materials it was built with. It also doesn't have cruise control... (more)
Story
I have no location specific stories related to my car. This may be because I walk most places I go since I am a student and am typically on campus.
Pros
We get great gas mileage in this car! Around town we get between 25-30, while on long trips we've gotten 40+mpg. The price is also great! We got this car with under 10k miles for around $15,000. So while there are obviously better cars out there, for the price this car is definitely a steal. This car is also very nice looking. While the exterior is of a cheaper quality than I'd prefer, it still looks very nice. The interior is of a higher quality material and looks great! For being such a small car it is actually quite roomy, even in the back seat! Also, this car has great power (well... r... (more)
Cons
There is nothing fancy about this car. It drives, and does all other basics, but was missing a few nice things like Bluetooth or cruise control. I don't expect a backup camera or anything too luxurious on a base model, but I did think we would have a few more features than we do. But for the price, its worth it. I hate how unsafe this car could potentially be. If I was ever in a wreck, especially with a larger vehicle, I would be seriously injured or killed. Maybe it's part of the trade off for the size and price of this car, but safety should always be a number 1 priority with a vehicle t... (more)
