The car is cheaply made and shabby, and it's grossly underpowered. I know Kia isn't exactly known for power, but I thought they were getting better in terms of quality; however, this Rio is so lame. If I hadn't needed a car quickly, I'd have looked for anything else not named Mitsubishi Mirage. The features are barebones and don't make sense at all--I mean, why would you make a car that has Sirius Satellite Radio but no power windows?! Give me power windows over some stupid advanced feature that I don't care about at all. It's so ridiculous. Also, do not get this car if you live anywhere that gets more than three inches of snow per storm. I live in New York, and the car is so underpowered that if you get stuck in slush, forget about getting the car out. You'll have to wait for the plow... (more)
Story
I was driving in a snowstorm, and I got stuck in a parking lot slush patch. I had to call AAA to come get me out.
Pros
The SiriusXM satellite radio is the only thing that resembles a pro, but it really isn't.
Cons
Just about everything--the power, the handling, the building materials. The car eats through brakes and tires, too! I drive mostly highway miles, and I had to replace both at 30,000 miles.

The Rio is a perky and fuel-efficient sedan or five-door hatchback, and as a Kia, it’s a great value. The 1.6-liter four makes 138 hp and drives the front wheels through either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.
Story
Having great time at the beach with family. I love going on trips with my family.
Pros
The base LX has manual door locks and windows, A/C, and satellite radio. The EX gets power windows, cruise, and remote keyless entry. The SX gets 17-inch alloy wheels, a sport suspension, nav, heated leather seats, and a sunroof. An all-new Rio will go on sale in late 2016
