I bought the car when my only other mode of transportation, a motorcycle, called it quits. I have bad credit and had to get a loan with a high annual percentage rate, but it was still worth it in the long run. I searched high and low for weeks and couldn't find anything newer than about 2005 and didn't have over 100,000 miles on it. I finally came across this 2016 Kia Rio at a dealership close by for a crazy price. I think it was around $8,500. For a 2016 Kia Rio with 52,000 miles on it, it was a steal. I immediately when to the dealership, took it for a test drive and checked everything out under the hood and was sold. It has become my daily driver, putting 40+ miles on it every single day for the last two years. The only problem I've had is one tire with a small leak in it which I fi... (more)
Story
The speakers are pretty good and it's great on road trips! I've taken it across the country multiple times. I've taken it to music festivals. I've used it to deliver for door dash. All great experiences!
Pros
Great gas mileage, reliable.
Cons
The seats are a little low for someone my size. I'm 6'1".

We absolutely love our car. I find that it handles very smoothly on the roads. So much that I don't feel the bumps as hard with here are no interior rattles or any other noticeable issues when driving. We purchased at 20K miles and have already taken it for a drive across the state. The interior is very comfortable. It is considered a compact car, but I don't feel like it is very compact. It has felt very roomy. I thought for sure by looks alone that I would have trouble getting in and out, but my legs fit with no problems at all. I even have extra space in the front. I climbed in the back with my son, and I still had room for my knees, and I didnÕt feel like it was a monumental task to get in and out of. The design is very sleek and modern, and it made me feel like I got a very nice c... (more)
Story
We were able to take a car trip out of state, and it was the first one we took with our new "baby." It handled smooth on the expressway, and we were shocked at how quickly it even passed up some sportier cars with the pickup it has.
Pros
Bluetooth connectivity, the rounded corners, and smooth acceleration. I enjoy the interior and the ability to use gas saving and go on the ECO mode.
Cons
No arm rest. Steering is a little loose feeling, which seems to be across the board with Kia. I wish it had a rearview camera. No cruise control.
