Good Value
The KIA RIO is a good value car. It gets amazing gas mileage around town and on the highway and from my year of experience driving it, reliable. For a smaller car the front is very spacious and has a good consul and cup holders. The back is supposed so sit 3 people but there is not a lot of leg room for adult especially with longer legs. On the flip side the trunk is very spacious but I think for my needs I would have preferred a bigger back seat. The plastic trim on the car is cheap and has not held up well. The only other thing is that I bought this car mainly because it has an manual transmission. I know I bought it because it is a bit slower and would keep me out of trouble but I must shift in to second gear before I hit 5 mph and if I am going 30 mph I'm already in fifth gear, it has six but this seams a bit excessive. Also, the seats are not very comfortable and lack lumbar support.

Never again
This car is cheap. I admit that I bought a basic version, so I understand that I don't have all the bells and whistles. The road noise is loud, the tires are too narrow, and there is no acceleration in this vehicle. The interior is very cheap. I haven't had any trouble with any of the cars electronic components. The performance of the car has been so-so. I actually had my breaks stop working one day, but it was only once. I do like that the trunk is big, and the car is surprisingly roomier than you would think. The fuel economy is a plus. I get fairly good mileage on this car. It has been dependable (with the exception of the one time the breaks went completely out for a minute). I like the lights on the car. They are nice and bright. I wish the Rio had a better radio, and I have been hassled by Sirius Radio to buy a membership to the point that I got a different phone number. It is disappointing that the car does not have a better warranty on it. I also feel that I paid way too much for this car. I had just gone through a bankruptcy, and I really didn't have another choice. It is what I could get financed for. My dad has a Kia, and he has been extremely satisfied with his vehicle. I am not trusting of mine. I fear the breaks will go out again!
