The fact that they did not recall the radiator hose into the transmission was a real bummer. We lost our transmission and had to have it replaced, and it should have been a total recall by the company. The CD player is broken, and I will need to replace with an aftermarket one, when I have the money to do it. The seating is very roomy; we have a family of five and are quite comfortable. The truck bed has a good amount of room to haul some things. The seats are comfortable, and it rides nice. There is a lot of cargo room in the cab. The moon roof is a great feature, and we love it. There are two glove boxes, and I like that feature. The cab heats up very quick and cools down even quicker. The body seems to be rusting a little too quickly, but we do live in a northeastern state with a lo... (more)
Story
My husband was able to get me to the hospital safely, and quickly, so we could deliver our third child.
Pros
Four-wheel drive. Moon roof. Rhino lining. Crew cab.
Cons
No recall on radiator hose issue. Turning radius. Junk CD player.

I picked up my truck about thirteen years ago from a credit union auto service. I was making my first (adult) purchase and knew that I wanted a pickup truck. I test drove a few and decided on the Nissan Frontier. There weren't many bells or whistles in it - manual transmission, manual locks, manual windows, etc. Even though it wasn't the fanciest truck, it was a solid vehicle for many years and even more miles.
Story
A lot of crew cab trucks sacrifice bed room for seating... not this one! This truck had more than enough space in the bed to make moving easier. (More space, less trips!) In the last 13 years, this truck has helped me move six times!
Pros
The first thing that attracted me to the Frontier was its appearance. With a tough, muscular exterior, it got a lot of attention. The Frontier was also a great deal, costing thousands less than other pickup trucks. For the most part, the truck has a very smooth ride.
Cons
Driving a RWD truck can be tricky. I've gotten my truck stuck in mud, snow, and ice, even when it wasn't very bad. Even though the truck has a second row (crew cab), most adults are not able to ride comfortably in the back. My daughter's car seat is currently in the back, and it's an adventure to fit her in each time. Also, gas mileage sucks.
