I have been impressed with the driving performance. It has more power than I expected, and the ride comfort is excellent. I have the manual transmission, and was excited to find a mid-sized truck with a V6 and a manual transmission for under $30,000. I needed a vehicle to pull a trailer of about 4,000 lbs. on occasion, but didn't want to pay for a full-sized truck or SUV to accomplish the task.
Story
The most fun I have had so far was pulling the Shriner's clown trailer with all the little cars and motorcycles. I got lots of attention and everyone was really impressed with how well the Nissan Frontier pulled that large of a trailer.
Pros
The biggest pro to my Nissan Frontier was the availability of a mid-sized truck with a V6 engine and a manual transmission in a mid-tier trim level. When I bought the vehicle, I didn't think the four doors was something I'd use but it has turned out to be very convenient. IT makes loading the vehicle after shopping a lot easier. The entertainment features are also a big plus - it includes blue tooth technology for your phone or tablet and Sirius/XM radio.
Cons
The biggest downside that I have found after 2,500 miles is the gas mileage, it is a bit better than the window sticker, but not quite what I had hoped to get. In town, I average about 18 mpg and, on the highway, just over 21 mpg. The other con that I have noticed is that the Nissan Connect Pandora app is very buggy and normally doesn't work. You can use the Bluetooth audio to play Pandora, but it doesn't have all the same features as the app includes.

The chrome details exude high quality and still look new after a couple of years. Chrome side mirrors and bumpers make it easy to locate in the parking lot. The navigation system has worked excellently and has helped me navigate when I moved into a new state. It is simple and easy to use, I prefer it over Google maps on my phone. The navigation system also lets me listen to the radio while giving me step by step directions.
Story
Moving to the capital region in New York was tough since I have never been here before. It was nice using the navigation system to find new and interesting places to eat and visit.
Pros
The rearview camera, Bluetooth, a USB port, and 5 inch display screen are my favorite features. The rearview camera makes it easy to parallel park. I love to listen to podcasts and the Bluetooth for phone connectivity and USB port for charging convenience are wonderful. The 5 inch display screen makes it very easy to navigate and follow the GPS. Whenever I go to the lake and have to keep valuables in the car, the storage under the back seats keeps my iPad and wallet cool and safe.
Cons
The gas consumption would be the biggest negative thing even though trucks are not the greatest at saving gas. I feel like I only get about 17 miles to a gallon and have to fill up every week which is a pain in time and money. Another negative thing would be the shape of the headrests. They are uncomfortable and I had to buy a neck pillow. The shape creates an awkward empty space at the back of my neck.
