I have been impressed with the driving performance. It has more power than I expected, and the ride comfort is excellent. I have the manual transmission, and was excited to find a mid-sized truck with a V6 and a manual transmission for under $30,000. I needed a vehicle to pull a trailer of about 4,000 lbs. on occasion, but didn't want to pay for a full-sized truck or SUV to accomplish the task.
Story
The most fun I have had so far was pulling the Shriner's clown trailer with all the little cars and motorcycles. I got lots of attention and everyone was really impressed with how well the Nissan Frontier pulled that large of a trailer.
Pros
The biggest pro to my Nissan Frontier was the availability of a mid-sized truck with a V6 engine and a manual transmission in a mid-tier trim level. When I bought the vehicle, I didn't think the four doors was something I'd use but it has turned out to be very convenient. IT makes loading the vehicle after shopping a lot easier. The entertainment features are also a big plus - it includes blue tooth technology for your phone or tablet and Sirius/XM radio.
Cons
The biggest downside that I have found after 2,500 miles is the gas mileage, it is a bit better than the window sticker, but not quite what I had hoped to get. In town, I average about 18 mpg and, on the highway, just over 21 mpg. The other con that I have noticed is that the Nissan Connect Pandora app is very buggy and normally doesn't work. You can use the Bluetooth audio to play Pandora, but it doesn't have all the same features as the app includes.

I did not believe I would like the Frontier when I purchased it because it was a small truck. The reasonable price was what attracted me to the truck and I assumed I would have to sacrifice comfort to own a small, low priced truck. I was shocked to find that the Nissan Frontier was actually very comfortable and the controls throughout the interior were well placed. The truck handles well and with the optional V-6 engine the truck provides a surprising level of power and acceleration. The truck gets excellent mileage and has been problem free during the first 30,000 miles. I have been thoroughly impressed with the truck and will consider Nissan strongly for future purchases.
Story
We purchased this truck as a third vehicle for occasional use. This truck has become our first choice for almost everything we do around our farm. It is light and easy to maneuver in tight locations and does not tear up the ground so we use it all over the farm. The smaller bed size has not been an issue very often which makes the truck a great choice for almost everything we do.
Pros
* Purchase Price * Low Interest Finance Options * Free Maintenance For The First Year
Cons
* Small bed does not have much capacity * Seatbelt buckle placement feels awkward * Nissan Connect App is a disappointment
