I like that my truck is not a gas hog. Mid-size truck with a V6 engine. I like the space in the interior. Allows for five passengers. I like the truck bed. It has a tie down system with eyelets and movable anchors. On the fly, four-wheel drive is a bonus. The back seats are a little straight up, no reclining options. I like the front dash with the navigation department. I haven't had any problems with my truck. Bought it used in 2011, and I'm still enjoying every day with. It has over 80,000 miles on it and still drives like it did the day I took it of the lot. I like all the exterior options that came with my model. I have the sport package called nismo. It has roof racks and the side steppers. Great vehicle for work and play. I am avid fisherman and a contractor, and my truck fits my... (more)
Story
My buddies and I would use my truck to go camping and fishing all around the beautiful state of Rhode Island. We would load four kayaks, three coolers and all the camping and fishing gear in the truck bed and head on out to our favorite fishing holes. With all the gear being able to fit into the truck bed, we could drive in comfort to our destination. The three coolers was, of course, two for ... (more)
Pros
Good on gas. Mid-size. Roof rack. Navigation. Big interior.
Cons
Back seat. Middle console too far back.

My Frontier is fun to drive and handles well in bad weather and on bad roads. The approach to my house is hilly and difficult to get in and out during snowy or icy conditions. Thus the 4WD. Also, my grandkids think it's cool!
Story
My great nephew, age 10, likes to help me take the trash out to the road for pickup. Not because he actually wants to take out the trash, but because we take it out in the Frontier and he likes it when I put the pedal to the medal. Not something he experiences in his mother's Cruze.
Pros
My truck is the King Cab model, which gives me more room for storage, shopping etc. as well as more leg room. The 4WD works nicely and has allowed me to extract myself from a couple of ditches without having to call the tow truck. I chose the full bed rather than the short bed. This allow me plenty of room for the light hauling that I do. The bed height is good for loading and unloading.
Cons
King Cab is definitely not meant to have additional passengers, even though there are jump seats/safety belts available. When using the low range on 4WD it sometimes "sticks" there and is difficult to get it to shift back to high range 4WD. Have had to replace one of the rear axle seals twice and have less than 100K miles on the truck. When I take the truck in for regular servicing, the Nissan dealer always tries to upsell services. I find this very annoying. No room for child seats in the back in the King Cab model.
