The truck is a 2005 Nissan Frontier XE, It is a true workhorse type of truck. It has a V-6 under the hood giving it some pulling power.
Story
Playing with the truck on a snow covered road. It holds its ground but still slides when you accelerate. This is a fun thing to do on a country road when no one is around.
Pros
It has the power and capability to haul a full bed load of rock without any hesitation. I really like having the sliding window in the back to allow for extra air flow for anyone sitting in the back seat. The back doors open allowing it easier to put things inside the truck in bad weather or during shopping trips.
Cons
It did not come with running boards, the truck sits a little high and can be difficult for a shorter person to get into.

Overall I rate this vehicle very positively. It is around 11 years old, has over 100,000 miles, and has held up well. The interior despite very slight wear has held up great, and I have had no issues. As far as mechanical problems there have been none. The truck has good gas mileage and functions as well as any other vehicle I've driven.
Story
One memory is that we went on a road trip from Texas to California and back with no issues. We stopped along every interesting thing in every state we passed through. The vehicle held up perfectly fine.
Pros
There are a few positive things about this vehicle. One being the gas mileage, I get about 19 miles per gallon with the functionality of a normal truck. Another is it's ability to handle poor terrain, it doesn't get stuck easily and isn't affected by weather much. Lastly, the interior is comfortable and has stood the test of time, with few signs of wear.
Cons
One con would be the size. It is sort of small, and I drive the extended cab so it is even smaller. If you would rather a small truck then I would recommend this one.
