The car looks decent. It isn't very sporty but it doesn't look bad. It is comfortable and has a good safety rating. I haven't had any mechanical problems with it so far and have been pleased with how it has performed on the road. The handling is sharp and responsive and it accelerates quickly. I have fun when I drive it because I can zip around small streets without worrying about hitting things because it has a small size. I particularly like the low gas mileage I get with the car because it saves me a lot of money compared to my last car. Even though the small size is good for driving, it isn't great for hauling things or transporting a lot of people. The car isn't really big enough in my opinion, I wish there was more space in general. The trunk is reasonably spacious for a car its ... (more)
Story
Once I had to pick up my friend who was hiking so I had to take the car about 2 miles up a really bumpy dirt road to a trailhead to get my friend. I expected to damage my car but it handled the bumps fine and only got a couple scratches on the body from rocks flying up. My friend thought it was hilarious.
Pros
Gas Mileage. Reliability. Paint color.
Cons
Small size. Doesn't look great. Price.

I've never loved a car before, but I love my leaf. This car has great speed and drives smooth. Its such an easy low maintenance car to own.
Story
During the gas shortages due to the hurricanes, I had zero worries. That was very nice.
Pros
No stopping to get gas ever! No oil changes. Cost of ownership has been so low. I get free charging at work, so the its really cheap to drive my car. I save around $300 per month in gas over the sub I used to drive. That has been a huge savings owning this car. It has paid for hit itself in the last two years. It's very powerful when taking off from a dead stop. I was surprised by the power of an electric. I also love the heated steering wheel, it comes in very handy in the winter months.
Cons
Range anxiety comes along with an electric car. I constantly have to back into the miles I plan on driving to ensure I have enough juice to make a round trip. The radio is also pretty crappy. Its like listening to an 80's era boom box. I also don't care for the dashboard at night. Its very dark and hard to see the buttons to turn on the A/C or the heat.
