I love that this car can go 80 miles on a full battery. You can charge up at home or at free stations around town, which is far more convenient than gas vehicles. It's a much smoother ride than gas cars, which makes for an easy drive. The interior feels nice; the seats are comfortable. It's a car that says "convenient."
Story
One really funny time with this car is when I was late to a conference. I saw the parking lot, and it was completely full. I didn't think I would find a parking spot. However, there was one open that said "Green Vehicles Only." I laughed because I knew I could park there without getting a ticket. That's definitely a perk of owning an electric car!
Pros
My favorite feature of the car is that it's fully electric. If you need to fill up the battery, you just plug it in at home. You don't have to find a gas station. It's extremely convenient.
Cons
The worst thing about this vehicle is that it can only go 80 miles before the battery needs a charge, and it needs at least a full hour to fully charge.

It looks like an insect, but itÕs reliable, surprisingly sporty to drive, has an excellent sound system, and itÕs saved us thousands of dollars. ItÕs a perfect second or commuter car. After carefully reviewing our needs and potential usage, we found our Leaf at a surprisingly good price. Ever since, itÕs slotted perfectly into our lives and fulfilled every need weÕve had. ItÕs completely converted us to the EV cause, so much so that we would seriously think about going exclusively EV from now on.
Story
The first time we drove the kids in the Leaf they all said how much more fun and happy they felt in a completely quiet and fast car. ÒItÕs like being in Luke SkywalkerÕs land speeder!Ó they told us.
Pros
ItÕs incredibly cost effective and inexpensive to maintain. ItÕs also very reliable and comfortable to drive. The torque power is deceptively strong and the car handles beautifully.
Cons
Aesthetically itÕs a bit utilitarian.
