My Nissan Leaf is an electric car. It can go 85 miles on a full charge and I can charge it at home with the provided L1 trickle charger. I can also charge it at L2 charging stations around town. This car drives so smoothly and is nearly silent. When you are inside the car you do not hear it at all. Outside of the car the only time you hear it is when backing up. In addition to a rear camera the car makes a beeping sound to warn people around. This car can go from 0-60 in a few short seconds. Very handy for the trucks that always seem to want to race on the road. I can get to the other side of town on once charge and even though I will have 20 miles left on the meter, I am coming downhill all the way back. Thanks to the regenerative breaking I get home with more than 20 miles on the me... (more)
Pros
-No, gas! -Very little maintenance. There are no oil changes, no transmission fluids, etc.... -It feels great to be eco friendly and not cause pollution while driving -The car drives like a dream -The great warranty and the option to replace the battery
Cons
-Only 84 mile range on a full charge. Other EVs get up to 200 currently -Lack of L3 charging stations which would let me charge in 30 minutes instead of 18 hours with the trickle charger -If you use the AC or heater it really drains the battery -People in

The car is great looking from the outside to the inside. I really like the slim shape of the headlights and the fact that the car looks so futuristic. The front seat and the back seat are both very comfortable to sit on. The car comes with seat heaters in the front as well as the back, so no one gets cold. The display is easy to read and the car is easy to use. It comes with hands-free Bluetooth calling that I use all the time. I also love the fact that I never have to do anything but plug it into an outlet to recharge it. It works out great for any local commutes you might have. One of the bad points is that the car will only do 100 miles though and about 50-60 miles when it is cold. In the winter time if you have to travel far or to too many places the mileage can become an issue. It... (more)
Story
When we first got the car everyone wanted to drive it. I think I had more than 7 different people drive the car in one day. They all talked about how silent it was and how they loved driving it. Everyone also had the same concerns about the mileage though and said they would like to see more miles. To this day, I still have people asking to drive it and staring at it.
Pros
Silent, Good Looking, Pretty of Trunk Space, Nice Interior, Comfortable, No Gas, Handles well in snow, Comes with seat heaters and Bluetooth
Cons
Mileage concerns; Mileage becomes worse when cold, Battery replacement cost, Fast charger takes 30 minutes to recharge car, AC causes the mileage to go down by a lot (though it's not needed too often)
