It's a sturdy vehicle, very luxurious, and, if well maintained, you will definitely get your money's worth.
I have had it almost three years now. It was a used bank repo car. It handles great on country roads and even better on interstates which is where I usually drive. It gets a combined average 25 MPG. I use 93 octane (premium) fuel, and it seems to get better gas mileage. I haven't had any problems out of this car! It has been a great car and look forward to driving it for another ten years. Just had an oil change, new brakes, motor mounts, tires, and detailed, and it is good as new! I have never had any trouble out of this car! My 2005 Volvo S40 is an excellent car. I'm almost at 300,000 miles, and it's still going strong. The climate control and the feel of the car are the best features. The turbo engine is great and provides a smooth quiet ride. It has sporty handling, small turning radius, great interior and exterior design, and good fuel efficiency.

Sharp, powerful, reliable.
This car is just fun. At 220hp turbo, it'll get you to whatever speed you need to be in satisfying time. The exterior is sleek and sporty for a sedan, and the spoiler makes it sexy. The interior is refined, with a graceful "waterfall" central console that is quite unique. In bad weather conditions, this AWD car has never let me down. I've never been stuck in snow, and am completely confident in rain and mud. Heated seats and dual-zone air conditioning take care of any problems I might have with different preferences between me and my passenger. What I don't like: the list is small but significant. The rain sensing windshield wipers aren't as refined as I would prefer. I often change between the sensitivity settings because it's not doing what I want. The biggest gripe I have with this car, which is minor but at the same time important, is the premium sound system. The sound quality is excellent, but there is no easy way to integrate it with my smartphone in stock form. You also cannot easily replace the head unit, as the system is fiber optic. It cost me around $500 to find a customized system that I had to install myself (no car audio shop will do it), so it requires some technical proficiency. The end result, however, was a Bluetooth integration into the system, as well as charging capability for a smartphone.
