2010 Dodge Journey OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

Not bad, not great.
My wife and I like this vehicle and bought it because our family was growing. It was a good choice at the time, and we would make it again, but I think we'd get a model with a few more bells and whistles. The SE trim is basic, but it's not uncomfortable. There have been some rattles and it's not a quiet ride, but it's not terrible for taking trips as a family. We just have to plan ahead and set up our own DVD player for the kid and make sure we pack it efficiently.

A hot mess
This SUV has been a nightmare ever since the warranty expired. One thing and then another is constantly going wrong, from the AC going out to the horn and other electrical components shorting out. It's so bad that I can't even sell it to a private party in good conscience. The rear seats are so high that putting my son's car seat in the back means that we cannot see out the back window. But perhaps the best thing is that everything under the hood is incredibly hard to access, almost as if it were designed to make it impossible to fix it yourself.

I really enjoy driving this car.
I really enjoy driving my Dodge Journey. We bought this after a minivan and I like the fact that I can still transport kids around but it's not a minivan. It's a tight car with no loud noises or unexplained sounds. It really is one of my favorite cars that I have driven to date. It's a comfortable vehicle for the entire family. We recently drove it on a 12 hour vacation and it was comfortable and reliable. I feel that since the price point was lower than other comparable crossover SUVs we got more for our dollar than most. Here is my favorite part we have teenagers and also a baby in our family. This car manages to have enough room to hold all the sporting equipment, gear, uniforms and still have room in the back for the stroller and baby gear. I love it!
