My wife and I like this vehicle and bought it because our family was growing. It was a good choice at the time, and we would make it again, but I think we'd get a model with a few more bells and whistles. The SE trim is basic, but it's not uncomfortable. There have been some rattles and it's not a quiet ride, but it's not terrible for taking trips as a family. We just have to plan ahead and set up our own DVD player for the kid and make sure we pack it efficiently.
Story
On a rainy day, we had a picnic by pulling into the park, opening the hatch, and sitting in the back to eat. We've done that more than once and it's always fun.
Pros
The feature we like most about this vehicle is the cargo space. When we bought it, that's one of the things we were looking for. With the seats folded down, we can really pack it in, but with the back seats up, we can pretty easily take a week long trip to the beach with two adults and an infant, and infants need a lot of stuff! There is also plenty of leg room. I'm a taller guy, and it's my primary vehicle. I do most of the family driving, so I need to have some comfort and I've never been uncomfortable driving, even for periods up to 12 hours.
Cons
The top negative thing about this vehicle is it's lack of features. No extras. That's fine by us, but it would be a much better driving experience if it weren't so basic. There are some real rattles and highway driving is not quiet. It's made well enough to not fall apart, but it will never be called luxurious. There was also a recall by Dodge for an ignition something or other. We didn't know it until our car was having major electrical problems. Once we got that taken care of, it runs like a champ.

I perform mobile diagnostic testing for various physicians and need to transport my own equipment. The vehicle has plenty of room to fit everything I need. The gas mileage is very good, which benefits me, since I travel through out Houston. The ride is average and comfortable enough for my needs. It also provides enough room for family road trips. It idles nicely and handles very well, even at high speeds. I haven't had to perform too many repairs on the vehicle. To date the most costly repair was the manifold gasket replacement. The car is middle class, not fancy, but not cheaply made.
Story
Taking my daughter out to drive for her first time. She was extremely nervous, but after spending quite a long time waiting, she finally agreed to drive. When I realized that she didn't even know which pedal was the gas and which was the break, I knew I had my work cut out for me. She was able to make sure the breaks worked well. The accelerator also seemed to be working properly. By the w... (more)
Pros
Lots of room for seating and storage. Good gas mileage. Overall performance is good.
Cons
The high setting on the windshield wipers are not as high as other cars. Replacing the battery, requires a professional, due to its location.
