The Dodge Journey is the best car I have ever owned. I love that it has 2 extra pop up seats in the back that you can pop up to make it a 7 seater, making it easy to carry everyone for an outing. The trunk space is very spacious and allows us to carry everything we need to go on beach trips. The trunk is so spacious that it can even hold our very large double stroller!
Story
I remember when we went to the beach a few weekends ago, we needed to change but traveling with 2 kids going to the restroom was going to be hard so we were able to change the kids in the trunk of the car while we changed using the doors to block us!
Pros
My favorite pros about the Dodge Journey are that it can convert to a 7 seater, it has a large trunk, hidden compartments for extra storage in the floor of the back seats, I also love that the passenger seat lifts up to reveal a hidden compartment which is perfect to hide my purse when I'm out! The Journey also has roof racks so taking a trip to Ikea is easy when you can tie up boxes on the roof, although most things fit right in the trunk because it's very spacious. If you really need space to move things you can put all the seats down in the back and have a nice flat area to move things.
Cons
The biggest con I have about the Dodge Journey is that the leg room for the 2 extra pop up seats is very minimal. The 2 people who sit in the back when we have the car set up as a 7 seater have their legs crammed up to their chest.

Overall it's a great car. Since purchase, I have had nothing go wrong with it. Other than basic maintenance (tires, oil change, brakes) I haven't put any money into the car. It's very basic. There isn't much technology on it like there is in more expensive cars. Although I don't love the way it looks, I think it looks nice enough to drive around. I have it in black which I don't love since it seems to show every speck of dirt and almost looks scratched up when it's dirty.
Story
Driving along Lake Michigan during the summer time.
Pros
It's a very sturdy car. I have owned it for approximately one year and haven't had any problems with it. It drives really nicely. It's a smooth ride and a pretty quiet engine. The price is also a big pro. The Dodge Journey is relatively cheap in comparison to cars of similar style. I love the touch screen radio. It makes the interior look neat. I'm also in love with the heated seats. They work like a charm. I also like the USB adapter that I can use to charge my phone.
Cons
I don't necessarily love the look of the outside of the car. It's cheaper than similar vehicles and it looks like it. I also hate how it doesn't have a back up camera. It's so hard to see when backing up since the car sits high off the ground and the back window is so small. I don't mind that the car doesn't have much technology, but a backup camera would be pretty basic. I also don't like how it doesn't have any regular outlets. Many similar cars have an outlet to charge phones and other devices.
