The Dodge Journey seems like a dependable quality vehicle. The vehicle is good for a family of four or more and includes third-row seating. We use the third row as extra storage and trunk space. I enjoy the touchscreen options for phone and radio. The only issue I have is that while you are on a phone call, you cannot adjust the rear climate from the touchscreen. If the rear climate has a lock on it, then the climate has to remain how it is until the call is ended. I like the mileage feature and how it shows you the remaining mileage until empty tank. The steering is good, and the seats are comfortable. I do not like that it takes about ten seconds for the air to come on after cranking the vehicle. I like the push-button start capability but wish that you didn't have to press the brake... (more)
Story
When my husband and I first bought this vehicle, we surprised our kids. They were in the driveway and we kept driving by with loud music and would stop and flash our lights. They had no idea it was their parents (myself and my husband) surprising them with a new family vehicle. They were excited to find out about the new car.
Pros
My favorite feature about this vehicle is the way it drives: very smooth and safe feeling. I also enjoy the third-row seating for extra passengers if needed. I enjoy the convenience of the push-button start feature. I also like the Bluetooth capability for phones usage.
Cons
The cons of this vehicle are that sometimes there are issues with the phone disconnecting to the Bluetooth in the car and also not being able to adjust the rear climate from the front touchscreen while on a phone call. Also, I do not like waiting ten seconds for the air to turn on after cranking the car.

The simplest way to describe the vehicle is hybrid. It is not an SUV or Van or Sedan. It has the strengths and weaknesses of each. It is spacious with three total rows but the last row is not very comfortable for larger individuals. It has a smaller engine compared to an SUV for better gas mileage. The last row can be lowered to allow for more carrying capacity. It is comfortable and has rear temperature controls. It is safe for all passengers.
Story
With the last row lowered it was great for beach trips and storing all the beach gear in the back. The whole family could fit in the front two rows.
Pros
The smaller engine provides for better gas mileage. It has three rows capable of carrying 7 total people. The last row can also be lowered that allows for plenty of space to carry goods in the rear of the vehicle. It is affordable at the low cost of 20K. The seats are fabric and comfortable and the rear middle seat has a hook up for baby seats. Includes all modern connections for technology.
Cons
The smaller engine does not provide great towing capacity or great 0 to 60 speed. The last row can only handle children and not fully grown adults. The fabric seats make cleanup more challenging for spills. With a baby seat installed the middle row is too close to the front and the front seat passenger must be moved forward to its limits.
