A safe family vehicle
The Dodge Journey seems like a dependable quality vehicle. The vehicle is good for a family of four or more and includes third-row seating. We use the third row as extra storage and trunk space. I enjoy the touchscreen options for phone and radio. The only issue I have is that while you are on a phone call, you cannot adjust the rear climate from the touchscreen. If the rear climate has a lock on it, then the climate has to remain how it is until the call is ended. I like the mileage feature and how it shows you the remaining mileage until empty tank. The steering is good, and the seats are comfortable. I do not like that it takes about ten seconds for the air to come on after cranking the vehicle. I like the push-button start capability but wish that you didn't have to press the brake pedal for it to work. I understand that this is a safety feature though.

Practical.
The simplest way to describe the vehicle is hybrid. It is not an SUV or Van or Sedan. It has the strengths and weaknesses of each. It is spacious with three total rows but the last row is not very comfortable for larger individuals. It has a smaller engine compared to an SUV for better gas mileage. The last row can be lowered to allow for more carrying capacity. It is comfortable and has rear temperature controls. It is safe for all passengers.
