It is made of actual metal. They used to make vehicles better back in the day.
Story
Going mudding with my wife and son and almost getting stuck but we didn't. I turned the wheel too sharp, and we went into a HUGE pot hole. The good old 4x4 got us through.
Pros
The body is tough. It is made of actual metal and not cheap plastic. The interior is nice, not leather. It won't stick to you. It drives smooth. I have driven it over 300,000 miles. It reminds me of times back in the day. I love taking it down dirt roads on beautiful days. I love all the room that I have in the truck. It will seat six people legally. There are six separate seat belts. I love the style of the truck. They don't make them like that anymore. It is reliable. I can always count on it to get from point A to point B. I love that it is 4x4. I can get out of mud very easily.
Cons
I will have to get a new motor very soon because of miles driven. The dash has completely fallen in. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the age of the truck. The A/C went out, so in the summer, it kills us. It gets so hot in the truck. In the winter, we freeze because the heat doesn't work. I'm sure this could be easily fixed by a mechanic. It is a very bad gas guzzler. It takes over $50 to fill it up every single time.

These trucks are great overall trucks. They require little maintenance and are very good for work. Solid-built vehicle and power to back it up, along with a good engine and cheap parts. These trucks were the last of the well built all actual steel vehicles. No aluminum junk and they can really take a beating. I would recommend this vehicle. The only thing I don't like is how much gas I use.
Story
When I got it stuck at the mud flats and had to get towed before tide came in.
Pros
These trucks have all the power in the world, you can haul just about anything. There is tons of room in bed and in the cab. They have great parts and plenty of room to work on. The engine is near unkillable. It would run on vegetable oil and hope if you wanted it to.
Cons
They are a bit bigger so turn radius is very small, as well as they go through a lot of gas. If you drive a lot it will cost a fortune. They also seem to go through ball joints but that may also be the way it is driven. Not many cons in my opinion. Oh terrible in the snow. just awful.
