Great car
This car is great. I bought this car a few years back as a retired under cover police car. It had many miles on it already at the time of purchase. I have used it for vacation and work and school travel. This car has held up longer than any other car I have owned

My 2000 Crown Victoria.
My 2000 Ford Crown Victoria is a tank of a family sedan. Weighing in at about 4500lbs with a 4.6l v8, the car is very comfortable and spacious while not being sluggish. Everyone that gets in the car is amazed at the amount of leg room even in the back seats while the front seats are almost all of the way back. It is surely much larger than the back seat of your average family sedan. Also, the trunk is massive. It can hold tons of firewood for giant beach bonfires, full pallets, long skateboards, anything you can throw at it. Crown Victories are known for their liability as a stable platform for police cars and other fleets. This, is what many people know my car as your police car. Now, mine was never a police car, it is the civilian version and always has been, but that never stops the association. This can be good as some drivers seem to move out of the way as long as their are multiple lanes on a given road, but if you are on a one lane road, well, you may get stuck behind someone trying to obey all laws of the road. While to Crown Victoria is known as being a spacious sedan, there is not much technology in the car. With production stopping around 2007, the most to expect out of one of these cars is a decent radio, electric windows, great air conditioning and standard features such as cruise control and anti lock brakes.

The last true domestic car.
When you drive a Ford Crown Victoria down the interstate, regardless of if it is a police package or not, every car around you slows to the exact speed limit. There is a sense of power that you feel. The Ford Crown Victoria (1998 - 2011 Model) is one of the last body on frame designs that you can find in a sedan. Much like a pickup truck or SUV the body is mounted directly to the frame. This makes the crown Victoria much more durable than any other sedan on the market. All Crown Victorias are powered by a modular and massively produced 4.6L Triton V8 which makes ~250 horsepower. The 4.6L Triton was massively produced as a staple of all Ford base pickups and SUVs, making parts easy to find and repairs cheaper. Thanks to the wide use of Crown Victorias in the police market you can find them on the used market for anywhere from $500 - $2500. The only drawback is that this car is a land boat and guzzles gas.
