Good overall family car
Overall, this has been a great family car. The gas mileage is still pretty good considering the car's age. It hasnÕt had many problems in the years that IÕve owned it.

Good Car
When I first got the vehicle it was previously owned by one person. I really liked the look of the car, it was going to be great to take my dog traveling in. I liked the color and the style. I liked that there was a luggage rack on top so that I could use to go camping etc. The seats laid down in the back so that if it was cold out you could sleep in there instead of a tent during camping. It ran great and everything was good. The blind spots are minimal because you are sitting up pretty high so you can easily turn your head and see very clearly. About a year after owning it I then started experiencing problems with it, one right after another. It was a good starting out car and got me from A to B but I started experiencing pricey issues. First I had to replace the tires because the alignment had been off since I purchased the vehicle. Then the fuel pump went out. Next it was the thermometer had to be replaced because it was sticking and it looked to be overheating. Then the last thing that's happened was that the gas gauge broke and gives me the wrong reading. So for the first year it was a great car to take on trips, although I've been experiencing more problems which will end up driving me to the point of purchasing a different vehicle.

Great Domestic Coupe!
I really like this car. It's very reliable and I enjoy driving it. It holds up well, and because it's a domestic repairs don't cost too much (when compared to import vehicles. The downside is, I think the transmission is not as strong suit for Fords vs. other makes and models, I've noticed I've had to pay extra careful attention on the maintenance of that for this vehicle to keep it going. Also, I which that there were some better and more upscale trim because the inside is a little dull. You can also really, really hear the road while driving, so it's a rather noisy car. I wish it was a little quieter. I do like how the gas monitor tells you exactly how many miles of gas you have left; it's saved the day more than once. Another good thing is that the car is very comfortable, even for longer drives. Overall, I would have to say that I recommend this car.
