The car is cheap but reliable and easy to fix.
The engine will last a long time if taken care of properly. The car only uses about 25 mpg on regular roads. The car is fairly quiet. The parts are cheap and can be fixed easily with parts from the junk yard. The car doesn't break down often. They only cost two grand used with fairly low miles on them. The car does however vibrate heavily on idle and does not handle too well in the snow. If the car were to break down, the vehicle is light enough that one could move it without too much difficulty. The wheels are very simple to take off when jacked properly off the ground. However, the oil filter can be in a difficult place to change when you need to do it. I like how the trunk compartment can fold down into the back to give you extra room for transporting. On the automatic transmissions, sometimes they may die prematurely though. Also, the thermostat housing was made better on older models. On newer ones, they may leak through the seams. This isn't too much of a big deal. Anyone can fix it with a few wrenches. No big deal.

It's satisfactory.
It's 17 years old now and still running. No big issues; haven't had problems with the engine or transmission or anything. It shakes quite a bit when idle, which causes the steering wheel to vibrate and lots or rattling noises. It's got decent fuel efficiency. It doesn't do great on steep hills; though, I'm in Texas so that doesn't really make a difference. The AC went out, but that was my fault for not adding Freon when I should have. I've used it to move between apartments several times, so it's got pretty good storage capacity. Given how old it is, some issues are to be expected. It keeps starting and running month after month, so it's reliable.
