Very bad quality
The 2014 Ford Fiesta Hatchback looks great and is very affordable. The reason why I am giving it a bad review is because I've had lots of issues with the car since I purchased it. The main problem I found is that the car has a malfunctioning clutch that will make your car shudder every time it shifts. There are thousands of claims on the internet of people having this issue in their Ford Fiestas. Ford has not issued a recall and the repairs the warranty does only fixes the issue until you ruin the replacement clutch.

Economical car good for everyday use and parallel parking
I have driven over 30,000 miles in one year in this car and it gets great gas mileage. Because of the bubble design, it is so easy to parallel park in downtown with this car - I can get into pretty much any spot I have my eye on. The actual space in the car feels quite cramped, mostly whenever I have a passenger, we bump elbows often. I have the hatchback and I love that the seats fold down to make the trunk bigger. I go to Ikea and buy furniture in this car and I am able to squeeze everything in with the seats folded down - kind of reminds me of a clown car when I start taking things out. I only paid $13k for this car and it is a true work horse. I've even taken it on mountain roads that are not paved and it has not fallen apart on me at all. Because it's a small engine, I bought the base model, so going up hills is a struggle, it crawls up hill, so people are always passing me. Because it is so small, you can feel every bump and every curve in the road, my passengers do not enjoy the ride because it is far from being smooth. I suppose that could make this a great race car if you enhance the engine.

Good car
I bought this car used, in July 2015. The most disappointing thing is that right after I bought it, it began developing shifting problems in lower gears. When I took it to the dealership, the service associate told me this was a fairly common problem. I don't know if it's related just to Fiestas or to Ford vehicles in general. I've had two other Ford vehicles and this particular problem didn't crop up. So, that was annoying. The Fiesta is definitely a cheaper car all the way around (I had a 2010 Ford Fusion which I LOVED). It's got more plastic on the outside, and its safety measures are lower. Aside from the clutch/shifting issues though, it drives well. It has only 14000+ miles on it. Like all the Ford cars I've driven, overall it is fun to drive. I like the way Ford designs its cars; the dashboard set up makes sense, where things are located makes sense.
