2002 Nissan Sentra Owner Ratings & Reviews

2002 Nissan Sentra - This car has pwned my life.
It is a piece of junk, the car rarely stays on and seems to always have something wrong with it. There has not been hardly 2 days when I don't have a new issue with the car.
Story
I drove from Texas to Idaho to go to school, the car broke down twice and got a crazy flat tire, and then on top of that all my belongings were in my car at the time.
Pros
It is a fun car to drive and tends get decent MPG.
Cons
The engine will blow out eventually and the electrical will be destroyed one day.
2002 Nissan Sentra - Falls Short of Expectations
The 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE is an economy car, designed for economy, with no compromises or synergies allowed for. The 4 cylinder, 1,769CC engine doesn't have enough pickup to accelerate at the rate of most other traffic, and doesn't get appreciably better mileage than other, sportier 4-cylinder compact cars. The famed reliability of Japanese cars is missing, too; the vehicle has cost me more than $1000 in repairs, every year, for several years. The interior, however, is mostly well-designed. Where an American car would require you to lean to reach a control, the efficient Japanese design places the control within easy reach.
Pros
Well-designed interior with controls easily reachable while keeping attention on the road.
Decent mileage.
Good sized trunk for a compact car.
Cons
Poor acceleration and handling
Poor performance in snow
Cost of repairs more than two times the equivalent for an American vehicle
