I really enjoy this vehicle; I bought it on a whim when my old car broke down in the middle of nowhere while on a road trip. I quickly got acquainted with the car because I still had a four hour drive home from where I was stranded. I literally drove this vehicle off the lot from the dealership and went four hours straight home with no problems, and on one tank of gas. It is excellent on gas, regulates air conditioning and heat well, and drives much smoother than any other car I've ever owned. For being a four door small sedan, it is remarkably spacious, and the trunk is bigger than any other vehicle I've ever owned. I've only owned smaller cars (i.e. My last was a Honda Civic) and my Sentra has much more trunk space. As far as reliability goes, I've never had any problems with this ... (more)
Story
Definitely when I bought it, as I previously stated. When I took a road trip to visit a friend nine hours away, my old car broke down on my return drive home. I was still four hours away from home and I was stranded in a tiny town in Missouri, so I got my Sentra from the local dealership and drove it from their lot to my house four hours away and ran into zero problems. Even though the trip wa... (more)
Pros
-Great on gas -small and compact but with plenty of space, so it doesn't feel crammed -handles well -color (silver) is nice -partially digital dash is nifty, and the burnt orange color of the gauges is cool
Cons
-A bit overpriced, but that is probably true of any car -Could use a tad bit more foot space in back seat for guests

2010 Nissan Sentra - It's good. It met all my expectations.

My vehicle is great. It performs well and is quiet, and I haven't had any serious problems with it yet. The CVT transmission contributes to a smoother, quieter ride and is still covered by a 100,000 mile warranty. The safety ratings were high, because I am surrounded by several airbags that'll be activated if needed. I love the way the backseat folds down to make room for long or large items I might want to transport, and the trunk is also very large by itself. The glove compartment is also very large, very spacious. I have noticed some paint chipping off around the trunk, though, after only a year or two.
Story
About 700 miles in I entered a car wash, and as I looked for a stall to enter, I didn't notice a long curb sticking out and went over it at about 25 mph. I busted 2 tires and had to replace them. My house was only about a mile away, and the biggest difficulty was figuring out how to get around with only one spare tire.
Pros
The CVT transmission is great. The factory radio is good enough for me and didn't need replacing. It has four 6x9 speakers. I feel safe with all the airbags around me. I like the blue color I got. The local Nissan service center has provided me with excellent customer service every time I went.
Cons
I wish some of the compartments were just a little bit bigger such as the center console that needs less than a centimeter more to have CDs fit perfectly. There's a central compartment I use for napkins that needs an extra centimeter or less, but I believe it was designed for glasses. As mentioned before, I have noticed some paint chipping. Upgrading the front door speakers will require lower quality speakers or adaptation to make room for fancy tweeter additions found on all of the higher end speakers.
