I was pretty happy with the car overall. I bought it used but it had a working A/C, which is important to me because I live in the desert. It also got good gas mileage and I didn't really have any problems with it until the very end when I had a huge problem that actually totaled the car. But not including that, it was a good little car and I miss it.
Story
I took it on a short road trip to the beach once which was really fun. I wish I had gotten the chance to take it on more adventures but I really mostly just used it to go to work. I always planned on taking a few camping trips with it but never got the chance.
Pros
I was really happy with the A/C and heater. Quite a few cars I've had in the past have either had no A/C or a very weak A/C system, and I did not have that problem at all with this car. As I said before, I live in the desert and it usually gets to be around 100 degrees here in the summer so it's really nice to have a good, working A/C.
Cons
So the main negative thing, maybe the only negative thing, is that the car randomly caught fire one day and burned itself to death. I'm still not sure what happened, no one was able to ever give me any reason as to why that happened, I guess it was just a freak accident? Or maybe it was something I did but I'm not sure what because I didn't really do anything. I was driving home one day and all of a sudden it just stopped, so I pulled over (I was in my neighborhood, almost to my house) and as I was sitting there wondering what had happened and what I was going to do, the hood started smoki... Drives well for short periods, but for extended drives (2+ hours), you start to feel the strain of the drive. It is energy efficient, and I can get pretty far on one tank of gas. The car is pretty spacious if a short person is driving, but if someone tall is driving, it becomes harder for a person to sit behind. The cost to value ratio is pretty good. It is not a luxury car and just does what it is supposed to do.
Story
We had to drive to Tampa for a couple days, but we had some miscommunication with the hotel we were supposed to stay at and our hotel room was not ready for us. Since we had already paid for the hotel, we spent around six hours in the car and that was pretty memorable.
Pros
Car is very cost efficient. We can generally drive over 300 miles with one tank of gas and still have a little less than a fourth of a tank left. For the size of the car, the trunk is very spacious. Car stereo has 35mm headphone jack, so you can listen to music easily. The door to the gas tank is secured with a button, so no one will be able to just open it. You can make more space in the trunk by folding the back seats.
Cons
Uncomfortable for extended periods of driving. Doesn't come with Bluetooth. The car has a lot of blind spots. The front of the car is cramped, and if a person is sitting on the passenger seat, there is not much room to put stuff. The standard rugs are very flimsy and move around a lot. The drive height is a bit on the lower side.
