I purchased a Dodge Charger a few years back brand new and financed it from the dealership. I was so excited to bring it home. I had always wanted one of these cars, and now it was finally mine! In the beginning, I loved the car: it drove well and was easy to control. The ride was smooth, but it also had that sporty feel to it. About 6 months after buying the car, I heard a weird knocking noise on my way to work one morning. I called the dealership and took it right down. Once they went through the car, they told me the bearings on the left front wheel needed to be replaced. I was in shock as the car was almost brand new. They fixed the bearing, and everything was good for another 6 months when I heard the same noise again, but this time it was coming from the back of the car. Once mor... (more)
Story
My ex boyfriend spotted me right after I got back to town after buying my Dodge Charger. He looked so surprised to see me behind the wheel, and as I drove past him, all he could do is stand there with his mouth completely opened staring at me.
Pros
The Charger is very sporty looking and has some get up and go under the hood too. I love the way it drives and is still sporty. All the functions inside the car was good too, and I especially loved the heated seats, especially where I live in the North East. Gas mileage was supposed to be good.
Cons
Charger has many issues with bearings. Not only one side and one wheel but all the way around, and this was before the car was even a year old. Gas mileage was awful, not as it was listed on the car when I purchased it.

The 2012 Dodge Charger is an exceptional car, if you're looking for muscle with a smooth ride. The build quality is top notch. Over time, I have been impressed with the way the interior holds up and how easily it can be cleaned, especially when dealing with children and spills. The exterior is sleek and sporty with perfectly wide set wheels and a front grill that commands the road. Overall comfort of the Charger is like a fine-luxury vehicle. The seats are plush and welcoming, especially for longer road trips.
Story
My wife and I love to take our Dodge Charger out on date nights. Even in our mid 30s, we are often the envy of any parking lot we pull into. It's fun to experience that youthful bliss every time we head out into the city for a night out!
Pros
Drive quality of this car is high performing. Even at high accelerations, the car holds well to the road and rides smooth, particularly on open highway. The interior lighting accents and dash display are a sharp and intriguing blue that looks very classy and expensive when illuminated. The smooth interior and exterior lines make this car every bit as sexy as one would expect to see from a Charger.
Cons
The car is very wide in stance, so it can be difficult to get used to parking in tight spaces or pulling into a smaller single car garage. It does take some getting used to. Also, certain mechanical work can be difficult to do on your own without the right equipment. The brakes are easy to access but due to the vehicles size and weight, it is more advisable to take to a shop than try to do brake changes, oil changes, etc. in a home garage on the weekends. Gas mileage is a bit lower than hoped for, however this vehicle can be fueled with E-15, which does help with the cost.
