I've had this vehicle for almost 8 years and it's been great! It's very dependable. I took it across the country with zero problems.
Story
I drove it across country from the east coast to the west coast and obviously it was a big part of that trip! It took me to Nashville, the Grand Canyon, fly-fishing in New Mexico and more!

I bought my Hyundai as a used car. It passed carfax but within the first year of owning it I have already spent over half as much in repairs as I did on the purchase price. The car is adorable. I love the look of it, and it is the perfect size for all of the road trips that me and my family make. When I chose it, it was because it received good reviews and I have 2 teens that will be needing to learn to drive soon. I wanted a solid car that they will feel safe learning in and that would keep them safe if they happen to get into a fender bender. Story
We take the car on lots of family adventures. We ahve gone to Cape Cod, Six Flags Jersey, The Ozarks and are planning a trip to Pennsyvania later this summer.
Pros
As I mentioned earlier, this car is easy on the eyes. I love the 2 tone gray paint and the roof rack. It just looks sexy. The interior is great too. The dash and console are so easy to work with for both the driver and the passenger. I chose to get cloth seats which are like a microfiber material so they are very easy to clean up with a cloth and mild detergent. I have teens - we need lots of electronic ports for charging phones and tablets and this vehicle offers plenty for them as well as their mom! Cons
As mentioned earlier, I have had to sink a lot of money into my car. The engine light went on and the car just started falling apart. Suddenly I was unable to get it to go more than 40 MPH and the speedometer as well as the odometer stopped working. When I tried to start it to take it to the shop to be checked out, if failed to start. I figured it was the alternator but I was wrong. I found out that the entire exhaust system had to be replaced.
