My Tucson was my second vehicle and I love it. it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it has been dependable and in line with my needs and style for this part of my life. It's neither a bottom rung car nor a luxury car. I'd buy another one when it's time if it were not for the fact that by then, we will probably need a minivan due to our plans for a growing family.
Story
Once we went camping and it rained significantly. early in the morning our tent leaked and we were going to head home early because of this. We prepared our breakfast in the back hatch of the car, with the hatch open it provided a little coverage to cook our meal with the mini-stove resting on the inside of the cargo area and we sat and ate sitting inside that cargo area too. With the hatch op... (more)
Pros
I love the style. It's large enough for my current needs. It's a great blend of something eye-catching and having a good number of features and quality. being a short person, it's tall enough to feel safe and have a good view of the road, but it sits low enough that I don't feel I have to jump up into it. The room in the trunk is nicely sized and versatile with the 60/40 seats. It's roomy enough for my 6'2" husband to sit in the front or back but is compact enough for me to feel comfortable in and not feel like I'm driving a boat. The faux leather seats have worn very well and help keep it... (more)
Cons
Over the years I've come to realize a few small details that future models could improve on (and might have already with newer models that mine). The biggest complaint I have is that the air flow for heat and especially AC is not the best, and this is exacerbated by the fact that there are no rear vents. If I need to cool down the back for my kids I'm forced to freeze myself to get it back there to them. Also the rear windshield wiper is some kind of specialty wiper that I cannot find at an auto parts store, so I have to order it from the dealer which is annoying. It would be nice if the r... (more)

I test drove several crossovers before choosing my current vehicle. I decided on my car due to how well it drove and the price. I have not been disappointed since. There is plenty of storage in the back for beach days with my daughter and partner. I am able to take my dog in the car with a car seat in the back seat as well.
Story
I use the vehicle to go to the beach with my daughter, partner and our eight-year-old dog. We pack up the back with towels, toys, stroller and a bag filled with snacks and extras. We drive about 20 minutes in the vehicle, everyone comfortable and able to enjoy our ride.
Pros
Being able to move large pieces of furniture. Being able to put in a car seat and large stroller. The overall handling is great. I like the all-wheel drive in the vehicle. The driver's seat is able to be changed to fit me. I have driven several different vehicles for years, and this is the first one that is comfortable for me.
Cons
There are not a lot of negatives. The gas mileage is not what I would like it to be. The pick up isn't great. It takes time for the car to get up to 65 from 45. I do not like that the passenger seat does not have controls to change the seating. I do not like the black interior; this is not the best for vehicles.
