This is a good but not yet great SUV. It is easy to drive and with the new features such as Back-up Camera, All Wheel Drive, ECO-Boost, It is a fun SUV to drive with decent gas mileage. It is rated 19mpg in the city and 25mph on the highway. With mine my mileage is much better as I am averaging 30mpg per tank of gas. I am using the ECO-Boost to get that mileage.
Story
I purchased this car using the Costco auto buying service. I picked out the car online and had the price set by Costco. I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour...Including the test drive.
Pros
My favorite features are the ECO-Boost which of course boosts the mileage. The next would have to be the blue-tooth technology. This car allows you to sync it with your phone for hands-free dialing as well as play your music through the sound system which employs 7 well placed speakers throughout the cabin of the car. The steering wheel acts as a media center control with sound system, cruise control, phone answering and trip computers at your finger tips.
Cons
The gas mileage is not comparable to other small SUV's in it's class. The climate control are not exact. You are usually either too hot or too cold with no middle ground.

My Tucson has been a smooth ride since day one; no major or minor repairs and I've had it one year now. I had to trade in my Hyundai Veloster last August (2014) since I was about to move out of Florida for a news anchor job in Upper Michigan! At first, I was upset to part ways with my sporty Veloster, but the Tucson has a sporty AND practical look to it. Plus, I knew I could depend on it to get me safely to and from work in the Michigan snowstorms! The gas mileage is incredible for an SUV, and it stops on a dime. The only thing I would change about the vehicle is the depth of the cup holders. It's a small thing for most people, but an avid Starbucks drinker like myself appreciates a nice deep cup holder to ensure my coffee won't spill when I hit a pothole under the ice! Other than that... Story
Living in Upper Michigan, there's a ton of snow where I am (Marquette) in the winter. I work as an anchor at a TV news station, and I have a white Tucson. One night, there was so much snow, I walked out into the parking lot and the only thing I could see on my car was one of my cool, dark metallic gray hubcaps, practically exposed in a snow drift. #Memories.. Moral of the story: Great car, eve... (more)
Pros
First of all, I love the body style. My sister jokes and says, everywhere I park it, my car looks like it's in a car commercial. My favorite features are the incredible gas mileage the car gets, the bright, and attractive looking headlights and the ease of steering/turning. I never feel out of control and the car is easy to maneuver, even in tight turns or small parking spaces. Parallel parking has never been easier, most SUV's are a little clunky to get used to parallel parking, but not the Tucson! Drive like a car and has the capability of an SUV.
Cons
The cup holders are truly one of the only things I'd like to change. I think they could be deeper to safely hold larger drinks more steadily. A little more trunk space never hurt anyone, but for my personal needs the trunk is big enough. I think as a woman, I would also like a little light in the visor mirrors to see at night and apply makeup, pull an annoying eyelash out of your eye etc. I've had card that had that light and it has a nice luxury feel to it, plus it's practical.
