I got this car after my Corolla was totaled. I actually went to the dealership to look at a Hyundai Sonata when I saw the Passat. It was my first ever luxury car and I love everything about it, mostly. This car has so many cool features I've never had in a car before. I love the heated leather seats, the sunroof, and the all digital dash. At the time, this dash was the nicest, coolest thing I had ever seen. I never owned a car with a screen on the dash to digitally tell me my speed, tire pressure, outside temperature, and song/radio information. The car also came with a 6 cd changer which again, was cool at the time. The car has a very smooth ride. Although it is large and roomy on the outside, it handles like a smaller car. The steering, maneuverability and over control of the vehicle... (more)
Story
After buying the car, I went to my nest friend's house to show him the car. I told him I was buying a car that day but never told him I ended up getting a different car. When I turned on to his street, I called him and told him to come outside. I pulled up to his house and his surprise and excitement just made my whole great day even more amazing. We drove to a local bar & grill, had drinks an... (more)
Pros
Beautiful, roomy interior. Really nice digital dashboard. Built in 6 cd changer. Spacious trunk. Heated leather seats! Separate temperature control for back seat. Sunroof! Extra plugs in backseat and center console as well as under dashboard. Great handling and maneuvering.
Cons
Regular services such as oil changes cost more than American and Asian cars. Repairs cannot be done just anywhere, parts cost more. Not very good on gas. Needs more gas, more frequently.
