I like that it is very sturdy, quality details interior and exterior, accessories are very functional. The car also runs very smoothly and makes it very easy for someone to conduct an oil change. The car is very ideal for smaller families or individuals. I have a small infant and the car has been so comfortable and functional as a busy and on-the-go mom. The exterior of the car also gives it a very high quality look, while it is simple and classy. The lights also turn on automatically when turning left or right in the dark, which make it very safe to drive. The car is also very easy to drive- the steering wheel, acceleration, and brakes work extremely well and are very sensitive. It is easy to go over the speed limit while feeling like you're going slower than you actually are- just be... (more)
Story
I traveled from Georgia to Pennsylvania during the winter with a one month old baby and two big dogs.
Pros
Very safe and study to drive, made of high quality material. Very comfortable for cross-country road trips and daily driving. Lumbar control on the driver's seat is very functional and helpful for back pain. Back seat is very spacious and comfortable for passengers. Steering wheel is very smooth and sensitive to drive. Gas mileage is amazing- getting an average of 30 mpg in the city and 25 on the high way. Air conditioning and heater work so quick! The interior design is very sleek, simple, and class. Exterior design is also very sleek, simple, and classy. The car can be driven by younger ... (more)
Cons
Wish it had a little bit more space for the front seats- width wise. Wish the side mirrors were a bit larger. Add LED-lights instead of standard DRL. Loud when engine is running- inside the car. Expensive oil changes and services. Difficult to drive in heavy snow. Air conditioner in the rear could work better. Back seat windows don't roll down all the way - make it optional. Sunroof could be larger. Navigation is not always up-to-date. Does not allow the blue tooth to automatically connect to phone music. Instead it connects to the CD/radio. Brakes are a little bit too sensitive. Could hav... (more)

I leased a 2015 VW Passat Limited Edition TSi in November of 2015. I was looking to lease a vehicle that was smaller engine and size than the car I had at the time, I wanted to “downgrade” a little since it was a commuter car. I did want to keep a few features with the downgrade, After looking at numerous cars, I picked the Volkswagen Passat since it was a reasonable overall price and had a great lease deal. It also had a smaller engine and fit the smaller sedan profile I was looking for. Unlike all the other cars I looked at it was still roomy inside; you can actually sit in the backseat. It also was equipped with all the features I wanted without a dramatic price jump like the other dealers were for the same features. When I test drove the Passat I was impressed with turbo power it h... (more)
Story
My memories of this car are all unfortunately not fun since this happened so soon after the lease purchase. But, I do have a unique story that the General Manager of the dealership actually drove my car for two weeks back and forth from home to work to address and find all issues with my car and loaned me a 2016 Passat to see if it had the same problems. Not every day some one that high up in ... (more)
Pros
As I mentioned in the overall description, since I focused on the reasons I purchased the car. I think Volkswagen did a good job at including the features I like such as seat heaters, remote start, keyless-remote entry, leather interior, sport mode, turbo, good gas mileage, rear view back-up camera and a small yet roomy interior and trunk. Trust me I have put the seat down in the back and fit a large area rug through the trunk and backseat, it is quite roomy. It was very easy to drive and felt very comfortable. I could tell it was a downgrade from my last car, but I was still happy with it... (more)
Cons
After the first few months, I start having small problems with the car such as back-up camera not working, seat belt alerting with seat belts on, wear of the tires extremely fast and constant loss of pressure, air conditioning leaking and worse gas mileage. Then more things kept occurring: shifting early or late and noises sometimes with the transmission, hesitation when accelerating, inconsistent braking, and engine smelling like it was on fire coming through my vents.
