The service here is AWESOME. The staff is extremely nice and knows their stuff. Not shady in the least bit. The staff was very clean and friendly. First time I've ever felt 100% comfortable with leaving my car somewhere to have work done. Pricing was really reasonable and was much lower than the dealership. Work was completed quickly and same day. Car tech even came out to explain things done to the car in detail.

The staff are the best. They aren't salesmen and do not pitch you any scam or deal. They are upfront, honest, nice, non-pressuring and really great to work with. While they may not be able to move much on price, the fact that you get a no-hassle experience from a real human being makes the price compromise well worth it. Plus, you always get free car washes at any Sewell location, which is a great plus. They are very customer service minded and this is what makes Sewell stand out among the best.

The salesperson we worked with was awesome! He really took the time to help us find the right car in our price range. He did not waste our time by having us there all day. I completed the application at home and emailed to him and showed up later that week to test drive the vehicle. It was a great experience and when we need to purchase again, we want to have him as our salesperson!

We agreed to a sales price over email and phone negotiations. Our sales representative was fantastic. We were in and out of this dealership in less than 3 hours! That includes test driving, transferring our stuff to the new vehicle, signing the final paperwork and going through financing! It was a great experience and we would definitely go back when the time is needed.

It was close by to where I was living at the time. I also knew that they would take my old car as a trade in. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was really helpful, although he wasn't as helpful once I arrived to look at cars. He passed me off to his associate and was really short with me. The new guy was very helpful.

This dealership is a small, out of the way shop located in Northern Dallas. It is not the place I purchased my car but it is a very nice dealership because the cars are located in an indoor lot. Being in Texas, walking around a parking lot in the heat can get exhausting quickly. It was nice to browse a selection of cars in a climate controlled environment.

The one best piece of advice I could offer to anybody who has never been in Dallas traffic or any major city with traffic problems is to know where you're going! In this day and age of the smartphone and google maps you can always know which lane to be in. Road interchanges come up fast, freeways sp ... (more)

Some of my favorite memories from driving around the Dallas area include driving around the lake. There is White Rock Lake in Dallas and when I was a younger guy we used to pile in my friend's car and go drive or cruise around there. Back in the early days there were huge crowds of young people hang ... (more)
Favorite Road
The North Dallas Tollway - First of all it's a very direct route from North Dallas to downtown. You can usually get on there and fly like the wind. On good days you can get in a fast flow of traffic and be downtown in a flash. When you drive through the area near 635 the road has some cool twists and turns, a lot of people ge ... (more)

Try to avoid rush hours as much as possible. I was able to reduce my commute from 1.5 hours each way to around 45 minutes each way simply by coming in to work later and staying later. Also, make an effort to know which surface streets move fast. Some of them are almost as fast as the highways becaus ... (more)
Favorite Driving Memory
My favorite memory from driving in Dallas is the first time I drove on the high five, which is an interchange between two major highways. I am from a small town in a rural area and had never been exposed to complicated interchanges. When I first saw it, it looked very futuristic and foreign. When I ... (more)
Favorite Road
Coit - When you are trying to commute home, both major highways coming out of Dallas to the Northern suburbs are very crowed. Taking a surface street like Coit allows you to miss all that traffic. As a bonus, there are many stores and restaurants along the way, so if you need to swing by a grocery store, b ... (more)

Dallas, TX Driving Tips
You really want to know your road names. Sometimes there are smaller roads that run parallel to the main road, which end up being a better option even if the speed limit is slower. You'll often find hidden neighborhoods full of interesting sights or cool little boutiques and restaurants.
Favorite Driving Memory
There was a time when I was first in the city and learning roads and street names, etc., and I was caught in serious traffic. It wasn't standstill traffic, but definitely slow moving and crowded. I was happy to have my little car with its V6 engine and small coupe style because I was able to conveni ... (more)

Mockingbird Lane - It's a nice drive of stop-and-go traffic with many pretty buildings and sights to see. There are several lanes and nicer cars in the area.
