Gas friendly and dependable. Great for someone single but too small for a family.
For someone who does not have kids, the size of the vehicle is perfect. Anyone with a family, it would be too small. The leg room in the backseat is pretty tight as well. Hooking up a child's car seat is a little tricky, so that could be a problem. The gas mileage is good, but newer cars of the same size that are not hybrids get about equal gas mileage. I purchased the car because of its safety rating, and generally speaking, I do feel safe. The only time I don't is if it is raining hard because the car sometimes hydroplanes (front-wheel drive). The pick-up is pretty good when accelerating from a stop. The only problem I have had is with a motor fan, which was recalled, but I had it replaced by the dealership. Everything else has just been normal wear and tear. I had a small fender-bender, and the car that I hit had their bumper dented in pretty bad, but the damage on my car was very minimal. The headlights could be a little brighter, but it is probably because it is an older car and newer bulbs are made better. The car has been very dependable with minimal problems. It has a navigation screen, but it is very small. The sound quality of the speakers are surprisingly good.

Works well enough.
This is a great small family vehicle that feels more like a car than a large SUV and yet feels roomy inside. I just wish that it didn't have problems with the rear door window hinge, the leather tear, and the air conditioner quitting.
