My dream vehicle
First of all, I love the color of my car. It is a kiwi green color which has always been one of my favorites. It is a sporty vehicle that is not too big or small, making it easy to fit in parking spots. But it is big enough to travel on vacation and bring along everything you need. I typically only have one passenger in the car with me, so to make extra room I lay my back seats down completely. I love that. I like that it is modern with a moon roof, CD changer, built in GPS, and has leather seats. Most everything has held up very well with my car other than the steering wheel column which I had fixed last year (after having the car about seven years). There really is nothing that I dislike about my car other than the fact that it doesn't actually get the mileage that the car dealer said it would. But that is probably due to my driving style. The car rides very well and smoothly and is good in bad weather, too (rain, snow). I hope to be able to keep this car forever because it really was my dream car and it has lived up to my expectations.

Still going green
The Ford Escape Hybrid is one of the most reliable vehicles still driven today. It's sexier than a Prius, can kick the Volt's batt, and what is so special about it is, it looks just like a regular compact SUV. As of today, the Escape has over 108,000 miles. The battery packs are tucked nicely in the far back of the cargo area, and are nicely cooled by a second air condition, enhancing the life of these babies. With a four wheel drive that kicks in when needed, and the 2.9 Atkins engine component, the Hybrid packs a punch and won't slow you down. What is especially nice is that the more you drive in city traffic, with all those stops and starts, that is when this SUV win in mph over most every other vehicle. While others are burning their gas at stop lights, the Escape runs solely on batter power, while the engine takes a nap. What's better? You can take off in battery (EV Mode) only, and cruise all the way up to 40 mph before the engine kicks on and takes over.
