Exciting!
I love the space the driver and passenger has, but I dislike the amount of room in the backseat. Having kids it's great! But I just returned from a road trip and two adults in the backseat has turned to be a little uncomfortable for those trapped in the back, however, it seems that the relative lack of space in the backseat leads to more cargo room in the back, we packed everything we needed in the back comfortable. As far as performance it works great, great gas mileage, the shocks so good that even going eighty we felt like we weren't even moving. The entertainment system is entirely hands free and allows for music browsing easily. The hands free sync of the phone made it easy to keep up with my family while on the road!

I own a silver exterior and black interior 2010 Ford Escape. I think the Escape is a great step when crossing over from a sedan into the world of sport utility vehicles. The overall size of the vehicle is not overwhelming. The ground clearance is great, which is a big deal if you are closer to the ground than most people. No need to run and jump in order to get into the vehicle. The console is user friendly and the black and chrome is a nice touch. The sync feature is a bit dated due to the ever growing evolution of smart phones. City and highway driving in the Ford Escape is a lot more enjoyable than the standard SUVs, in my opinion, due to its compact size. Having the ability to make tight turns, fitting comfortably in mall or supermarket parking spaces, or the ability to fit into small lane openings on I-75,285 and I-85 make this SUV a newbie's dream. I also love the fact that Ford seemed to have me in mind when creating the multi color changing lights that illuminates the floors and cup holder.
