My truck has been completely reliable throughout the years. The best thing about this truck is that it's durable and it's a vehicle that I can depend on. In the few years that I've had it, I've had no troubles out of it, and this truck is 16 years old with a decent amount of miles on it. There's nothing flashy or amazing about this vehicle, but it will do it's job and get you to where you need to go, when you need to be there.
Story
When I loaded my truck up for the beach, my friends laughed at how much I was bringing with me. I had chairs, umbrellas, fishing poles and bikes all crammed into the bed of my pickup truck. They didn't think I'd get everything in there, but somehow I did and I hauled my truck all the way to the beach. We had a great time and I was glad I'd gotten a truck then, instead of a car, because there's... (more)
Pros
The thing I like the most about this car is it's value. I have gotten a lot of use out of this truck and it's still driving just fine with no complaints. I love the interior, because it's a double cab and is very roomy for a pickup truck. I have plenty of space when I'm loading up the back cab and the bed of the truck with luggage for vacations. The interior is nice and roomy, it has the main things I need, like a radio, A/C, and cup holders.
Cons
The main thing I dislike about this vehicle is something that is a problem with just about any pickup truck. And that is that that this vehicle doesn't drive well in the snow. It slips and slides on ice and snow, so I have to avoid using it in bad weather.

What I love about my vehicle is that first, it's a really nice looking masculine truck. It was affordable for me at the time which was perfect because it was the only vehicle that I was even remotely interested in. I love being higher off the ground in comparison to small cars. The drive is really smooth and feels like an SUV. What I do not like about it is the gas. It's not too bad but it definitely does get expensive and being a full time student, it does get me stressed out. I bought it brand new in 2002. Throughout the 14 years of owning it, there have only been a few problems with the truck that have come up. One major issue has been that it began to make a strange rubbing/squeaking sound when ever I turned left. Another issue was that it kept making an annoyingly loud, n... (more)
Story
The first memorable moment was when I first drove it to San Francisco. I had had a stick shift civic before hand. Driving on those steep streets in San Francisco in my truck made me feel awesome.
Pros
My favorite feature is that it is big but not too big; I can still drive it in busy San Francisco with no problem. The ride is the most comfortable I've experienced.
Cons
The major problem that I had with the truck is that after 3 or 4 years of owning it, the dashboard lights stopped working. I could not tell how fast I was going when it was dark outside.
