Wonderful look and feel. Really great on mileage. As far as height - while it's a four cylinder, it's technically mid-sized and sits a little higher than most cars on the road. Plenty of bed space and really easy to handle. It has an extended cab, so I am able to either use it for extra storage or transport extra passengers. Toyota vehicles are built to last and will operate for extended periods of time if you take good enough care of the vehicle and stay on track with the upkeep and maintenance. Only thing that could have been improved would have been the tire size and the additional accessories. This truck came standard edition, which is fine, but could have at least had electric sideview adjustable mirrors! All in all - awesome, beautiful yet tough truck!
Story
Driving through the mountains to go camping. Truck handles very well off-road as well as on the road!
Pros
Extra space. Also, the radio/receiver is touchscreen and syncs with your smartphone! I can listen to music, talk and even text (hands free) while driving!
Cons
Tires came as custom and could have been a little larger in my opinion. Also, it came with no seats in the extra cab space, so I'd have to install, which can be time consuming and cost extra money.

I chose a Toyota Tacoma because of its reputation for quality and durability. It looks great inside and out and performs as good as it looks. It's also not priced ridiculously, unlike Ford, Chevy, or Dodge. $40,000 is just robbery - plain and simple. Not to mention the fact that Ford, Chevy, and Dodge's quality don't even compare to Toyota's. I test drove a Nissan and it felt cheap and rode horribly, for me there was no decision to be made. Toyota was the only viable option.
Story
sitting on the back of my truck with my family in my back yard and grilling up steaks under the stars.
Pros
Just right in size, not obscenely huge. Awesome turning radius and overall handling. Good gas mileage (21-25 MPG). Plenty of power with the 4.0L V6. Well equipped, modern interior but without useless bells and whistles like GPS. Aesthetically pleasing inside and out. Tough as nails when there is work to be done.
Cons
Parts are a bit pricey if needed. Stereo quality is not bad, but could be improved with some better speakers. Chrome rear bumper is the only chrome on the truck and sticks out like a sore thumb. Would prefer a matte black finish like the rest of the trim. Would like a V8 option. Could use a smoother "feeling" transmission. Would also prefer a sun roof option.
