Comfortable touring sedan you can have fun with.
I really enjoy my Volvo 2.5t AWD. It's spacious enough when I need it, small enough to get around comfortably in the city and performs well enough to take me wherever I need to go with no worries. Living in the Pacific Northwest I take this care to the mountain in the winter, the beach in the summer and on gravel and dirt roads when camping and I've never been disappointed in it's performance. The turbo comes in handy for passing, too. The ride is comfortable and I usually get compliments from my back seat passengers when they are surprised how nice it is to take a trip in my car.

It fits my personality, sleek, unexpected speed.
Volvo has produced an excellent car in the S60 T5. It has performance, reliability, looks, safety, and value in an European sedan. Furthermore, our dealer treats us like royalty when we come in for service. This was my first vehicle and is still maintaining very well. I not a fan of the expense of maintenance on the car but who is. Considering my first car was a luxury car, I guess I can say it was and still is worth it. My first issue with my car wasn't until 4 years ago meanwhile I purchased the car with 6 years under its belt.

Fun car to drive, expensive to maintain
My vehicle is a 2004 Volvo S60R. This car is a concealed power house of a car with a 2.5 liter 5-cylinder turbo engine. This car goes 0-60 in just 5.5 seconds and is a real treat to drive. The inside of the car feels luxurious and the shape of the steering wheel makes you feel connected. I like how well the car responds to actions and the active chassis settings which allow you to go from “comfort” mode to “advanced” mode with a touch of a button. The leather inside the car doesn’t feel over-done or cheap. Good thought and engineering was put into the design of the car and the placement of the controls all feel intuitive. The brakes are extremely responsive and even though the car can seat four people the car doesn’t feel heavy driving it. The car is stylish, slick and sexy and is a head turner. This car does an average 18 to 25 MPG, but with the upgrade of just a K&N filter, its now closer to 20 to 27 MPG. My biggest dislike about this vehicle is the cost of maintenance. The average cost of each shock absorber is $400+ and a simple brake job can easily range over $400. Since the car has a turbo, expect to pay for premium gas and full synthetic oil. This car is also slowly starting to deteriorate at 106K miles. The inside leather is starting to wear down and the center console is slowly starting to fall apart.
