The handling and performance are excellent for a four door sedan with great aesthetic appeal and reliability. The turbo charger comes alive when accelerating in quick response driving situations, which has surprised many people riding with me. With the standard trim package it does not draw much unwanted attention, but does give an impression of class and sophistication. Overall the quality of this run of Volvos is much better than the previous generation and has a cleaner more sporty look than the traditional boxy body styles of the past.
Story
One night someone tried to rob me at a drive up ATM machine and I pushed the car to the max! The adrenaline high was insane, but I appreciate the car's craftsmanship that contributed to my quick escape and evasive action.
Pros
The vehicle has ample room in its spacious truck and the back seat leg room does not suffer. The visibility of the road is great while looking forward and to the sides when in the driver's seat. The accelerator is responsive but does not feel too hard and is not overly soft. I have not had any major electrical or drive train problems through the life of the car.
Cons
The main con of the Volvo S60 is the same with many other European cars is the maintenance and repair costs. Even an oil change is much more expensive than a domestic car and its harder to find mechanics with experience.

I like the Volvo s60. I wish it was as big as the s60 or s80 but it drives very well. its acceleration is fast, marvelous. I like the sensor windshield wiper, it comes on by itself, has good leather seats but a bit expensive to fix.
Pros
The color is burgundy and nice. it accelerates real nice. the size is better than an S40, the tires are big and nice and it handles well.
Cons
it is a bit small, it is a bit expensive to fix and the radio needs more luxury.
