Over 200k miles and extremely dependable.
I loved the power behind this 8 cylinder engine, I would often rev it to get people's attention as to avoid honking at people and startling them. I did not like the plastic parts on the interior, as they would often need to be replaced due to the sheer age of the vehicle and resin being very cheap and/or breaking easily. I found having a caprice station-wagon through the years really adapted to my lifestyle. For example, I drove over a very high grade bridge with a heavy metal canoe INSIDE the car, sticking out the hatch with no issues, and with all my high school friends in tow. I could load up all the groceries I needed when moving into my first apartment. I even slept in the back in a parking lot once to save money. I would definitely buy this car again due to its dependability, as I fishtailed repeatedly once on a slippery ramp due to no tire tread and the car didn't even come close to tipping or spinning out. The electrical parts needed to be replaced due to age and newer quality components available twenty years after the car was manufactured. Things didn't start going downhill with the "computerized brain" of the vehicle until over 150000 miles. Overall, I know this car has saved me so much money, excellent grocery getter. I realize now what all the hype was about in the 70's when almost every family had a station wagon. It isn't a Bentley, it isn't fancy, but it is a very enjoyable car.

A delight.
I like this car a lot. I bought it from a sheriff's auction. It has some holes in the dash where they pulled out the mounts for the radio and shotgun mount, and where the cage was mounted.

Loved this car. Am looking for another for purchase.
A 1991 Chevy Caprice is the best car that I have ever owned! The car is very stylish and roomy. Even being a large car the Chevy Caprice is made to look sporty. With factory 15/17 inch rallys or a custom chrome rim the Caprice is a great looking car. On the inside is very roomy in the front and back. The seat are cushioned well and this car can comfortably hold 5 adults. Another perk to the Caprice is the trunk space. From fishing, grocery shopping, hauling a washer, or putting in a sound system the Caprice can do it all. This car is a pretty low maintenance vehicle. Most repairs are fairly cheap. Keep it tuned up, oil changed, and regular preventative service and this car will run forever.
