Used Chevrolet Lumina for Sale

I have 1999 Chevy Lumina that has 210,000 miles on it. This car runs like a champ. I get about 20 miles per gallon city. On the highway I get about 25 MPG. There was only one cup holder in the car. I installed a center CD and cup holder piece and it worked out well. I did put some money in to this car. Really nothing more than regular maintenance. My car and other Luminas I noticed have rust around the gas intake. Also my air conditioner does not work. I was quoted $700 for it to be fixed. I turned the offer down. This car has some good acceleration. It will get up and go. I do believe I have small oil leak. I also have had problems with it over heating. That got taken care of by some stop leak.

The Chevy Lumina is the definition if an average car. Mileage, performance, handling, need of care, road noise, and most other things were so very average. The few things that were a bit better than that were the comfort and space in the vehicle. Below average was the general style of the car, including the very shoddy paint quality straight out of the factory. The late 90s Lumina is somewhat renowned for having the paint on the doors start to chip away after accruing over 100k miles. It's almost a sad badge of honor, like a scar after fighting the road for many many miles. General upkeep of the car seemed pretty standard; if you treat the car to its due check ups, it'll last awhile. Brakes seemed to wear out a bit quick, and the gas tank had to be replaced once to prevent gas from leaking. That may also be a general Lumina issue. Overall, can't complain as the car still treats me decently through all seasons.

I bought my Chevy Lumina used, with about 40k miles on it, and was just 2 years old. I purchased an extended warranty with the car, and never used it! I drove that thing to the point where most other cars would have fallen in a heap. In the time I owned it, I drove the car nearly 140k miles. The only money I put into it was for normal maintenance, such as tires, oil changes, fluids, and the like. My Lumina was by far the best car I ever owned. I upgraded after five years of owning it, because I thought I was in the mood for something newer. Bad choice...I should have kept it and drove it til the wheels fell off! I drove the car many places, in all types of weather conditions. Never did it overheat in the summer, and never did it not want to start in the winter. I traveled many states, and never had any concern about getting where I needed to be.
