My Chevy is a step side Chevy Silverado. It is one of a kind and you can't find much like it. It is fast and slow all at the same time. BAM

Anyone who buys this type of vehicle is mostly concerned with the engine horsepower and towing capacity of the vehicle. The 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 does not disappoint. The power is impressive and markedly better than an older Silverado I owned. The acceleration is comparable to most basic cars, and it has enough power to pull nearly any trailer. The quality of the interior of the vehicle is also impressive. The seats are comfortable and supportive, and the leather appears genuine and upscale. The sunroof is a nice option, as is the rear DVD player. All in all, the vehicle portrays power, yet maintains a slightly regal or premium image.
Historia
I once took a trip to Virginia using this vehicle. Not only did the vehicle provide ample room for the occupants to stretch out, it also allowed the ride to be enjoyable. The interior noise was kept to a minimum, which allowed a conversation to be easily held. The rear DVD player with wireless headphones also kept the children occupied and happy, which in turn kept the adults happy.
A Favor
My favorite thing about the vehicle is the engine, including how powerful it is yet remarkably quiet compared to older Chevrolet engines. I also like the factory exhaust brake and factory brake controller. Previously, these were not offered as options by the manufacturer. Thus, I was forced to install after-market brake controllers and exhaust brakes, which looked "cheap" compared to the premium factory interior. I also like the fact that the vehicle has not only heated seats but also cooled seats as well.
En Contra
The biggest con about this vehicle is the fuel mileage. I've owned previous Chevrolet Silverado 3500s as well as Ford F350's before, and neither of those had as bad as fuel mileage as my current Chevrolet. The fuel mileage is approximately 11 miles per gallon.

This truck is a powerhouse. It’s awesome for pulling heavy fifth-wheel trailers down a dirt road or on the interstate. It has great power, great fuel mileage, and very comfortable. The interior of the truck is super nice; we love the leather seats and faux leather dash board. Overall, it is a fantastic truck. The only thing we dislike about the truck is the cost of repairs. Because this truck is a full ton, all the parts seem to go at once on the frame, and they are really expensive to replace. Overall though, the benefits outweigh the costs, and it’s a good deal for your money – great buy!
Historia
The night I picked up the truck, I pulled an all-nighter getting it home just so I could use it the next morning.
A Favor
Positive things about the vehicle include the luxury interior. The sound system that comes with the truck has amazing quality. The bucket seats are really comfortable, and the dash board is very nice to look at. My favorite feature of the truck is the trust that this truck will get the job done – no matter what job you give it! It’s a nice feeling when you are hauling a fifth-wheel trailer across states, and you know that the truck will hold up, do its job, and won’t break down on you. This truck is an awesome truck for pulling weight, and I haven’t been disappointed.
En Contra
The frame of the truck has to be maintained very regularly. The ball joints, u-joints, and drive line all seem to wear faster than normal. It’s frustrating when you take the truck to the shop because of a small vibration or humming sound that you hear and the fix is $1,000 or more. Usually it’s expensive to make repairs on the truck because of the cost of parts for this truck, but also because everything is very hard to get into in order to fix it. The truck also doesn’t turn very sharp, but as long as you make extra wide turns, then you’re good.
