This is the best vehicle I have owned solely for the fact that I have previously never owned a car that was less than 17 years old, this car when I brought it was only 7 years old, and none of my previous cars had automatic locks or windows. So, needless to say, this almost new, power control, awesome car was a breath of fresh air. When I bought this car I was in between cars and, honestly, I was just looking for something cheap. I got a lot more than I bargained for with this car. It is very small and it's great on gas. After owning my car for just a couple months I was madly in love with it. It always is running very well, I have had no quality issues, aside from the ignition switch. Chevy contacted me saying my ignition switch could possibly be faulty, they gave me a rental while they had the car and fixed it in a very timely manner. I haven't had any major issues, any more so than would be expected for a car that's been being used for 6+ years(i.e. new brakes and new tires). One complaint, from my boyfriend, about the car is the cup holders and far they are away from the driver, I told him he should try being smaller, and to leave my car alone!

A balance of performance, economy, and practicality
The 2010 model year of this car came fairly loaded. Performance display on the dash, stereo with subwoofer in the back. It had standard features that prior model years only had as options. The turbo on the engine gives the car V8 power with 4 cylinder economy. 4 doors and folding seats make hauling friends and cargo easy. The SS model looks sportier and better than the standard version HHR. Underneath the hood, mechanically it is completely different and beefed up in every way. It goes, stops, and turns much better than the standard model.

Love this car!
The HHR is a great car for everyday riding and for hauling all your stuff. This car has plenty of room for everything you need. It is great for driving around for errands or for long trips. The seats are adjustable to fit your back needs. The seats are heated too so they are great on the cold winter days! You can notice the HHR in the parking lot because it looks so much different than regular cars so you don't have to go hunting for it in the parking garage. This car is such a work horse. I have had it filled for moving my household and hauling around all the stuff I needed for my job. The weight of the load does not affect the performance of the car. It still drives smooth and accelerates nicely and smoothly. I live in an area that gets a lot of snow and this car has no problems handling the snow and/or ice. The front wheel drive pulls the car through the snow and have never gotten stuck with it. I also like the information that the car gives. It keeps track of when the oil change needs to be done, the mph can be changed to kph, your current mpg and how many miles are remaining on the tank of gas. This car is great!
