Blazer surprised with performance
I had a Blazer in the 1990s, and it was a good car but had very stiff handling. It was difficult to imagine it ever becoming a day-to-day commute vehicle like a passenger car because I just wasn't comfortable driving around in it for long lengths of time. This Blazer, the 2004, was actually a very comfortable ride and felt more like a luxury car. At the same time, it remained responsive, allowing me to drive in snow and black ice when necessary without missing a beat. Another improvement that I greatly appreciated was the electronics. The sound system was better, and I love being able to access my cell phone through the vehicle instead of having to hold a phone up like the old days.

Most reliable vehicle I've owned!
I bought this vehicle used from a friend with around 100,000 miles on it. It currently has close to 300,000 miles on it and I drive it every day. Other than a few minor things, I have never had any major issues with this vehicle at all! This vehicle can handle long trips on the highway or short trips on the city with no problem! The interior as well as the exterior have held up against the wear of time, especially considered it is not ever parked in a garage. This vehicle was able to withstand hitting a deer at 65mph like a tank, with only the radiator and front headlight assembly receiving damage! Great quality and construction by Chevy for this vehicle!

Very reliable daily driver
I've owned this SUV now for 5 years. It has over 212,000 miles and is still going strong. The interior does rattle a bit and feels a little cheap and plastic, but everything still works. It has been well worth every penny I paid for this vehicle. In fact, I've taken it across the country four times since I bought it and it was reliable every time. Now that the mileage is so high, the transmission is just starting to slip up the tiniest bit. But it still passed inspection again so it is good for another two years. I plan on buying another car soon, but I will still drive this one daily 'til I literally drive the wheels off it. The back end is rusting a bit, but that is to be expected in the northeast where I live. All cars rust up here with the salt and sand in winter. I love the size of the vehicle as well. I can pack it up and take off for a week, or pile my three big dogs in it and take off for the day. Go food shopping and everything fits in the back. I even bought a Blazer for my father after owning mine for a year. I would buy another one in a heartbeat, but unfortunately they don't make them anymore. So later this year when It's time for me to start looking, I will be looking at the Trailblazers.
