Amazing Value, Durable Car
I picked this car up for $750, and it's been a godsend. After 30 years, it runs like a champ, is comfortable inside and looks stylishly retro on the outside. The gas mileage is acceptable and the handling is superb.

Such a nice car. I bought wide tire for the back to be cool and I think it just bogged down the skimpy 6 cylinder engine.

I hated the way the car looked, but I loved the way it ran.
What I liked about my car was that it cost me only $300 dollars to buy it. I also was in an accident with it that wasn't my fault and was given $1600 from the insurance company. I did not like all the rust on it or how old it was. I also didn't like the fact that the air conditioner did not work. I had to clean the inside of it out completely because the previous owner used it as a greenhouse for her plants. When I was finished cleaning it though it looked brand new. The styling was lacking until I put some really nice alloy wheels on it. It had a line down the side that made it look like a bmw kinda. It was alright for room to sit in, I could have used a tad more headroom. The trunk had a lot of room. I had a sub box in the trunk and still had lots of room left. It didn't make any noises at all. I did all my own work on it and when I bought it I gave it a tune-up and changed the trans fluid with some heavy duty gear oil. The only problem I had with it was one of my brake calipers seized up on me and I replaced both of them with brand new ones. I remember my dad helped me with that. The gas mileage was incredible! It got 40 miles to a gallon of gasoline. For being an old cheep peace of junk, I thought that was pretty good. It was a carbureted fuel delivery system though so I think that had a lot to do with the great gas mileage. It was kind of fun to drive I guess. It had a manual transmission and I liked that. That made it fun. It didn't have much power. I think the motor was a 1.4 liter or something like that. Sometimes I would really push out some rpms when I had my girlfriend with me and she told me that she was amazed at what it could do considering it looked like crap. It felt like driving a little Honda around. The stopping was real good after I replaced the brake components. The handling was very nice in it. The cost of the parts for it were kind of pricey. It was considered an import. It was made in Canada and was compiled of parts between Chevrolet and Toyota. All in all it was a very trusty little car and would probably still be going strong today if I still had it.
