1996 Chevrolet Camaro -
This car is 19 years old, has 224,000 miles, and it still runs like a champ. The interior has held up very well, with the exception of the headliner, which is sagging. It gets exceptional mileage, considering it has a V6 - an average of 28 mpgs! Of course, the car has had mechanical issues, but what car that is that old hasn't? Nothing major has gone wrong with it. It has never let me down on the side of the road. The ride is pretty comfortable. It is a very aesthetically appealing car has well. The back seat is very small, but that is to be expected with a Camaro. I have moved a few times while owning this car, and I can tell you that you can fit a surprising amount of stuff in the trunk and back seat! My biggest complaint with this car is the fact that the seated beam headlights are very expensive and I have had to replace them 6 times in 3 years of ownership. This car also doesn't make a whole lot of power but it is definitely more practical than a V8 model. Over all, I love this car and plan to drive it for many more years!
I have moved a few times and fit all of the stuff from my dorm in the car. There was barely enough room left for me!

My favorite feature is the styling of the car. I also like the comfort of the interior and the fact that the car has a V6.

The small trunk is the most negative aspect of this car. Camaro's aren't supposed to have a lot of storage space, but the trunk is oddly shaped, which makes it even worse.

2012 Chevrolet Camaro - 2012 CAMARO
THIS CAR IS PERFORMANCE VEHICLE. IT HAS VERY RESPONSIVE CONTROLS AND AWESOME, USER FRIENDLY CONTROLS. THE ENGINE OFFERS GREAT HORSEPOWER PERFORMANCE IN A 6 CYLINDER ENGINE. THE BRAKING AND TRSCKING CONTROL SYSTEMS MAKE THIS A VERY WELL ROUNDED ROAD CAR. IT HUGS THE TURNS AND THE ROAD IS YOURS. IT IS A BIT TRICKY IN SNOW, IT SITS SO LOW TO THE GROUND. THE CAR HAS A VERY RETRO LOOK, REMINDING YOU OF THE CAMAROS OF THE LATE 60'S AND THE MUSCLE CAR ERA. THE INTERIOR IS STATE OF THE ART, OFFERING A BACK UP WARNING SYSTEM THAT DISPLAYS THE IMAGES BEHIND. SAFETY IS A GREAT FUNCTION IN THIS CAR, STATE OF THE ART AIRBAGS AND SEAT RESTRAINTS. THE WINDOWS ARE A BIT SHORT IN HEIGHT BUT THAT IS NECESSARY FOR KEEPING IN THE RETRO FEEL OF THE CAR. THE BODY OFFERS CLEAN LINES AND GROUND EFFECTS TO DIE... (more)

OVERALL A VERY IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE CAR FOR THE MONEY IN COMPARISON TO OTHERS IN ITS CLASS. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS CAR TO ANY MUSCLE CAR ENTHUSIAST THAT IS LOOKING FOR A GREAT LOOKING RIDE WITH PERFORMANCE AND STATE OF THE ART DESIGN.

1982 Chevrolet Camaro - Chevrolet did not make these cars to last
I bought a 1982 Chevy Camaro with the hopes to restore it. There were a few problems when I bought it but nothing too bad. This is the first year of this particular generation of Camaros, and I very much enjoy the sleek, low profile look of the car. The t-tops are also wonderful when driving in the summer. It is not the most comfortable car to sit in or drive, but when purchasing a sport car, comfort is not high on the agenda. In the front there is plenty of leg room for the driver and passenger. It has back seats, but they are tiny and cramped, and I would not recommend anyone actually sit back there. I plan on removing mine. When it is actually operational, the car is super fun to drive. It goes quite fast, and is easy to do burnouts.

When I purchased it, the car had less than 100,000 miles on it and was stored in a garage. Since I have owned it, the car frequently breaks down and needs new repairs. I have put all of my money into repairing it so it is drivable and had almost no money left over for the restoration. In the two years I have owned it I replaced the windshield, t-top seals, the radiator, the water pump, the timing belt, the battery, the headlights, the tires, the heater core and a few more things, on top of the regular maintenance it requires. The car gets horrible gas mileage and I cannot get it to stop shooting out black smoke from the exhaust. Overall, if you don't plan on driving the car until it is restored, I would recommend it, but a word of warning - this car is not a daily driver! I wish I would have gotten something smaller, with better gas mileage first so I could stick with restoration project on the Camaro instead of just having to repair it all the time.
I drove this car to the beach doing about 30+ mph over the speed limit the entire time, and it handled great!

The car is fast and fun to drive
T-tops are nice during the summer and warm months

Something new breaks on it all the time
Gets horrible gas mileage
Spits out nasty black smoke, and would definitely fail emissions if I lived in an area that was required
